these type of scams have been around since the 1970s . i remember when i was a lonely and desperate 18 year old guy who wanted to meet a pretty female back around 1983 and i answered a dating service ad and they told me to go to their office and pay them 200 bucks , and i cant remember how i even came up with that money back then , but after i gave them the money , a couple weeks went by and i was never contacted by them with the information i needed to contact potential dates and they never would answer their phone anymore so finally i went back to their office and it was empty and for lease and the people were gone , i got scammed .

these dating scams have been around for decades . i guarantee these people have changed their business name many times from previous lawsuits and after this verdict they probably simply closed all their accounts and opened another dating service with a brand new name and this scam company never paid this judgement . the old guy probably still has not received his money back .

Well I would agree with the comment if he was actually rude to the lady that sent him the email in any way, he complaint to the defendant and she didn't handle it correctly. He then complaint to the bbb and she didn't like that, which is ok, but she can't just pause his merberahip without notice just for that. Unless he actually threaten to do something harmful in anyway to the other clients or herself.
