Dear Denise, I love your videos so much, and this one. You have inspired me to loom knit, you got me into one of my favorite hobbies ever. Whenever I️ have a bad day I️ will watch your videos which give joy in my life. Hi, i have been looking for something to do while i am watching tv in the evening. I have been watching you videos and i love them all, and there are many more to watch. I will watch them and see all the different ones you make and then i will get my loom. To make the scarfs which one do you recommend the round or the long one. Actually, I think i am going to purchase a few of them. The next one i am going to watch is the Basket Weave Stitch. Thanks for sharing all your tips and tricks and i look forward to watching. Do you like clover Pom Pom? No problem with all small piece falling out? I noticed every time I made a Pom Pom, there are so loose and I couldn’t make it tight, I had to use hot glue inside the center to keep it together.

I am loving this scarf! However I only have two skeins of yarn that I want to use at 108 yd each. How long do you think this scarf would be? Too short?

The common rule is that the scarf should be as long as the recipients height. You can always measure as you knit to make it longer or shorter. Just stretch the stitches before measuring.

Hi Kelly I would not recommend #3 weight for this project - the stitch will be way too loose and the texture will not show as well. If you use #4 , yes you most likely will need 3 skeins. Please let me know how it turns out. :)

Hi Denise, Thank you so much for all your wonderful videos. I always wanted to knit but never could get on with needles. You have got me obsessed with loom knitting day and night. Most making hats for the homeless and now making slouchies for teens with cancer. So you are helping not only us loom knitting addicts but many beyond us. I need a ladies hat to go with this scarf, is there a waffle stitch hat pattern to match the scarf? I would like to make a few hat and scarf sets for the teen cancer unit and think the pom pom scarf is really suited to the girls but can't see the teen boys wearing it lol. Which matching hat and scarf set would be good for the boys? Thank you again for all you do. PS. I found the men's waffle stitch hat and noticed its done in single aran while the scarf is chunky. I need to use the same chunky wool for the hat. Would the me s waffle work for the teen girls with the chunky wool?

Hi Sue - sooooooooo happy to hear that the pattern is being used to love on people- THANK YOU ! Yes, you can use the chunky yarn with the waffle stitch hat and cowl or the pompon scarf. Knitting a tube scarf on one of my 24 peg looms when your video popped up....love it !!!! Confession, I have 2 other round looms and a zippy loom on my bed with scarf project's on them...the zippy loom scarf is the only priority 🤤 but I need more yarn for it...so off to Micheals in a snow storm tomorrow...lol

Use the largest loom - 40 or 41 and the same chunky yarn. Cast-on depends on your choice for brim.

My favorite brim is a 1+ 2 Rib stitch (knit 2, purl 1) a garter stitch , seed stitch or my other favorite - brimless.

Try a basic hat with brim and instead of the basic stitch do the waffle stitch - I might need to do a hat with this - I keep getting questions on other social media about a hat for this scarf - lets see if time permits.
