LOONA THE ICEBERG: Everything Explained 

10/18/21: hi besties, i've had the #SaveLoona video finished and sitting in my pc for a while and there's a lot i'd like to change but it would take forever (and my pc would probably explode) if i did, so i'm thinking i'll upload it anyway? it explores the donuts lawsuit, the debt issue, a little bit of jaden jeong, bbc's connection to their parent companies, and shady family history, but i'm not really happy with my tone in the video yk. i will correct myself a TON in the desc of that one, so keep an open mind when watching that vid pls

One thing unique that I find in LOONA is that despite the memes surrounding the group, at its core their brand has developed a steady flow of mythology/mystery and deep discussions of theories + easter eggs. There's just so much to unpack.

Heejin actually is the one who ranked 9th on the show. Hyunjin would've been in the lineup too if MNET didn't evil edited her because she took Heejin's place out of the girl crush group and placed her on the cute concept group to show that Heejin was multifaceted. I know for a fact that Hyunjin knew only one of them was going to debut since there's always been a rumor that there can only be one representative member that can debut from each company. Knowing this, she sacrificed herself being evil edited so Heejin can be part of the final lineup. Much to our dismay the boy group won but YG messed up and even had a lawsuit because none of the boy group members got to debut at all since YG cancelled it. Mixnine tanked and YG got what he deserved.

I feel like the fact that Jinsoul should have come before Kim Lip confirms my theory that Singing In The Rain came before Eclipse in the timeline. I always felt like Kim Lip walking through water in the beginning like it had rained the previous night was a call out.

at around 11:18 when that one person said Choerry's circle is backwards I think it means how Choerry isn't actually the true member of OEC but rather a replacement created by jinsoul and kimlip to replace hyunjin's spot because hyunjin went down to earth to be with heejin, leaving her spot as a member of OEC. This makes sense because with Hyunjin's Yellow and Lipsoul's Red and Blue, it makes all the primary colors. Also in "Around You", Hyunjin's debut solo, the bracelet left at her door is the same as the one that Go Won makes in the unreleased "See Saw" MV meaning that the bracelet was planted there by yyxy. And thus because of the bracelet, Hyunjin decides to leave "The Between" to find Heejin on earth. This creates a void in the between and so lippie and jinsoul combine their powers/colors to create Choerry. This is also why Choerry's odd eye is on the opposite side of her face than kimlip and jinsoul.

It’s always been really weird to me that the Letter to Hong Kong and Seesaw videos were never released at ALL (not even on orbit 1.0 or something??) because they explain a lot about the lore like Jinsoul’s connection to Vivi and an entire scene in Around You 🤨

Watching this after hearing the news about bbc’s financial danger actually breaks my heart… since the beginning, LOONA has been an incredible and complex project that has had so much hard work put into it (by the girls, producers, choreographers etc.) and to see that there may be chance that it could all be ruined by bbc makes me tear up a bit. For the first time in a while, I’m actually scared for LOONA… but hey on a positive note this was an incredible video! I will definitely be subscribing lol ❤️

Are yall ready? I’ve heard that most people under theory videos like to hear other people’s perspectives so that they can come to their own conclusions about lore. I T S M Y T I M E T O S H I N E How the Loonaverse started: a world in black and white with no semse of good and evil. “This is wrong”, thinks a young prototype (yeah, it’s Vivi) made by the good gods. “Nothing we can do about it now” the good god replies. *flash forward a couple thousand years* Heejin is born, and both Heejin & Vivi are sent to earth within the Loonaverse Möbius strip to bring colour to the world, if successful, activating 10 other prototypes on different planets, allowing them to become human. But… only Heejin ends up completing the mission, what happened to Vivi? In order to answer this, let’s take a look over at Middle Earth and Eden. On Eden, there’s a constant strive to live between harsh standards and evil gods’ control, and on Middle Earth, there’s a powere force that allows the now human prototypes to gain certain powers (I’m just going to like deny part of the iceberg rq (not real quick, I do it more than once help) sorry). Vivi was always ambitious, and so, she wanted to bring colour to the entire Möbius strip, and gets badly injured after her first few laps around. She is taken in and repaired on Middle Earth by Hyunjin, one of the prototypes there. Vivi is given an Odd Eye, allowing her to survive. Hyunjin takes Vivi back to earth and sets a time for Choerry’s wake up. Long-story short, Jinsoul wakes up, Kim Lip wakes up, Choerry wakes up. Here’s where it gets interesting. Somewhere along the way, Jinsoul eats a cherry that transports her to Eden whilst gaining forbidden knowledge that will scar her for life (also, she gets this black tint on her odd eye that hurts her to represent her sin). It is there that Jinsoul meets Hyejoo, who appears to be all alone and abandoned, as she got lost while yyxy headed off to earth. It is there that her and Jinsoul connect and Jinsoul eventually manages to help her get to earth. All 12 girls contruct a moon in an attempt to take out the evil gods and break the loop the Loonaverse is in. They ✨fail✨. They then help free everyone else from the evil gods and start a cult- I mean a rebellion, yeah a rebellion… in so what we see Jinsoul and Olivia’s evil intentions show, as Olivia sacrifices Haseul in hopes that it’ll break them free. Oh also Gowon is half-evil now. Jinsoul’s black tint in her Odd Eye transfers to her brain and head, corrupting her, which caused her to direct Olivia and Gowon to kiII the other girls of Loona. Why not is Olivia’s dream where Haseul is gone and everything is out of place. Star is Gowon’s dream where Haseul is gone yet they are still stuck. Haseul barely makes it back alive and is now a firebender. Olivia tries to kiII Heejin but ends up apologizing and teaming up with Heejin against Jinsoul. Gowon is also no longer evil. In Not Friends a corrupted Jinsoul goes after Heejin, Yves, and Kim Lip herself. In the end, with Olivia’s help, Heejin summons a New Moon to try and kiII Jinsoul with neither being aware she’s corrupted. The end for now!

Fun fact: Yves is actually a French boys name :)

There is a few things you forgot is loona 1/3 membet voting and how the loona member was chosen There is a teaser introducing a new sub unit which is 1/3 saying that the fan get to vote 3 out of the first 4 members to form a sub unit with a new member(ViVi) But the voting never happened And then the loona member system, an istagram post by a bbc director showing how the loona members are selected Trainees are divided into group A, B, C Each group send out 1 representative to perform 1st, 2nd, 3rd places are selected 1st place became loona member, and can select team they want to move in to But when OEC debuted, a lot of trainees left the company so they had to recruit new member, so that's why the yyxy members only trained for a few month

I think I read it on some reddit thread that Around You 2.0 was actually the original version of the song-apparently it was the version and arrangement to be recorded by Ladies' Code and that it was meant to be a song on the third part of their Healing Trilogy, but the album never happened (Jaden Jeong was also their creative director, and we know that he has some..........history of abandoning his idol group projects in the middle of everything). LC was from Polaris, and BBC is a subsidiary of Polaris, so it was easy for Jaden to "snatch" songs and give it to somebody else.
