Just heard “Nothing Else Matters” played on cello at 3rd episode of Wednesday (Addams Family). I thought it was Loop Trigger’s version, but it wasn’t. Then came back to hear Loop Trigger’s version one more time. Verdict is clear: Loop Trigger’s version is simply unmatched. By far the best I have ever heard. Thanks for great art.
It was a version from Apocalyptica. There is a fan arrangement on youtube with the apocalyptica version and James Hetfield vocals which is absolutely stunning - you can search for "Nothing else matters ''mix'' by Silent Dj"
@@LOOPTRIGGER I tried learning this on Cello and gave up pretty much straight away to play it on guitar as it's way easier. Respect for how amazing it sounds man
This guy is amazing! If LOOP TRIGGER ever goes on tour and decides to come to the USA and has shows in my area (the mid Atlantic region) on the East Coast, I would most definitely buy tickets for my wife and I to see him. C'mon Man, there's lots of money to be made here! Hint, hint...
This sounds so amazin. I just tried learning the violin but realized I hate the high piching sounds. Now I think about getting a cello instead but I'm more into rock/matel and not into orchestra music at all. You are a great example for how to play a cello as a solo instrument. :)
Omg! This is amazing. 🙏 I love this song, it brings back so many memories.. You made totally great job here. 😍 ...May I ask if you are satisfied with the Yamaha SVC50 (at least I hope your e-cello is this model :))? I'm about to purchase one, because I want to be able to play with a band on stage (it's more complicated for me to get the right sound on my acoustic cello along with all the drums, electric guitars and microphones without any bad mirroring sounds), but I'm not sure if the svc50 is good enough for this type of performace or if it's better to invest money in svc210. Also I like the svc50's sound more than the svc210,so it looks to me that 210 is better mainly in "comsetic way". So yep, I'm very confused and would really appreciate your opinion on your e-cello. :)
So close, no matter how far Couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are And nothing else matters Never opened myself this way Life is ours, we live it our way All these words, I don't just say And nothing else matters Trust I seek and I find in you Every day for us something new Open mind for a different view And nothing else matters Never cared for what they do Never cared for what they know But I know So close, no matter how far It couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are And nothing else matters Never cared for what they do Never cared for what they know But I know I never opened myself this way Life is ours, we live it our way All these words, I don't just say And nothing else matters Trust I seek and I find in you Every day for us something new Open mind for a different view And nothing else matters Never cared for what they say Never cared for games they play Never cared for what they do Never cared for what they know And I know, yeah, yeah So close, no matter how far Couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are No, nothing else matters
This is incredibly awesome. Wow, great performance! I was wondering what electric cello you're using? And if you could share what pedals you used during this performance?
It would be great if Loop Trigger added in notes how he creates his sounds. I’ve always wondered how he gets that raw, knarly sound in his cover of Sail (my fav piece of his). I have same equipment and have had multiple electric guitarists try to build the sound and we fail.
What do you mean John by knarly, raw sound ? I send the signal from loop station direct to audio interface. Generally in my covers I use lot of reverb, delay and overdrive ( boss od 1 ). In sail I used od1 + flanger + reverb + delay to get the sound you're trying to bulid. I hope it helps :)
LOOP TRIGGER Wow, thank you. I think that will help. 1:06 into the Sail version you did on the street has a deep and heavy “wah’ note played only about 4 or 5 times through a loop. I will play with the settings based on your notes.
