this video is blowing up holy shit wish i knew a way to load fastfiles(they're responsible for loading assets) to add ghost's model and sounds to enemy of my enemy is my friend so i could make a sequel to this video without CRASHING
If I were to learn that my commanding officer is a traitor, you bet I would get a sudden jolt of energy. There is nothing to describe the amount of panic, anger, and horror I would feel upon learning this intelligence moments before I see my superior.
@GreenPlayerManghiam "most skilled warriors on the planet", yet they can't survive two seconds against a bunch of Portuguese speaking kids with football jerseys and AK-47s
I love the implication that Toad and Archer trust Roach and Ghost enough to completely stick with them when Roach shoots Shepherd, even if they possibly had no idea what was happening, they trusted and went with their brothers and stuck with them till it was all said and done
They heard the broadcast too, you know they got killed in the mission. At the end in the radio chatter you can hear snipers in the bushes or something like that eliminated which was Toad and archer
@@Morgan_Freeman_ Well, technically it could potentially be Makarov's mercs. At the start half the enemies you fight are in Ghillie Suits. Wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for more merc sniper teams to be arriving during the time you extract.
@@skell6134 Well yeah, I mentioned that. I was saying it would make sense for there to be enemy sniper teams just as you are pulling out, and those same sniper teams being mopped up by Shepherd's men. Honestly, wouldn't be surprising if Toad and Archer made it out, made new identities, and continued their lives in hiding.
If anything, Roach pretended to keep limping when he didn’t have to after Price radioed them. Since Ghost heard it too, he played along and shouldered Roach all the way up to Shepherd for the perfect shot.
It’s possible. In call of duty anyways. In a game like arma 3, you can last awhile, but only if you know how to use guerrilla tactics. Longest I could last against enemies including armored vehicles was about 20 minutes. However, I was using stealth to my advantage.
An interesting what if scenario to the modern warfare trilogy would be right after you shoot Shepherd, Roach and Ghost fight off as many shadow company members as they can before inevitably being over run and killed. Leading directly to the MW3 where now the DSM is in the hands of an unknown new leader of Shadow Company who is out for blood against the TF141 and they engage in a cat and mouse mini war all while hunting makarov. What do you guys think? (Oh and instead of Delta Force, we see the Army Rangers actually go to Moscow to finish off their story that we never got)
Lmao shadow company is a private military made up of hired mercenaries that Shepard owns, if he dies they'll be disbanded because they're working under nobody except for the shadow company. So the "unknown shadow company leader" would not exist.
@@xPr0j3cTNovax seriously it ain't gonna happen, after shepard dies makarov is next, boom ending same plot. Shadow Company can't simply exist after the person they work for dies, and Shepard was always the 2nd main villain in call of duty and shadow company is just a private military that he formed with *hired* mercenaries. Be more realistic.
Price: Where’s Roach? ghost: He didn’t make it, sir. Price: Is shephard dead? Ghost: Yes, roach killed him before the ambush arrived. Price: That’s one dog laid to rest.
This def shoulda been an alternate route. Finding out what Shephard was up to and surviving.. then helping out Price at the end running through the plane yard.
@@nicolaidepue3970 Like getting alternate ending if you manage to speedrun through plane yard as Soap to get to plane as quickly as possible and have all intels collected then fate changes
Also even with this version the next mission an MW3 still make sense bc they are still considered traitors for killing Shepard and they still have Makarov to kill. Also Soap wouldn't die because he died of an old wound reopening (the stab from Shepard), Shepard dead-> No fight on Rust -> no wound -> Soap survives the blast
Oh, yeah, I didn't realize that. I wouldn't mind seeing an ending like that. I don't think it'd be too unrealistic just because the main characters don't die, as long as there are supporting characters who does.
Dude you just partially wiped off a life time of agony and pain.Thank you man.Sincerly from the bottom of my heart.THANK YOU.Keep up the good work. (Hell yeah I subbed)
Somebody played Modern Warfare, and said "nah fuck that" then proceeded to make a whole fucking mod. That is some hard dedication just to spite a digital character.
Nah coz makarov would have learned the betrayal sooner as well. Killing sheperd here really only sped up the amount of time it took to get to the events of MW3
This hit me so hard back in 2009, replayed loose ends dozens of times, keeping those 2 extra dudes in the house alive, hoping for a different outcome, but they die off screen. This is so satisfying to see, imagine MW3 story if gaz and ghost survived!
Imagine being the dude's on the other side who were chasing you down. Like all of a sudden your enemies just start gunning down their allies and you have no context.
Price: “Do not trust Shepherd, I say again do not trust Shepherd!” Ghost: “One step ahead of you, sir” Price: “Good to hear that.” Objectives Updated: Escape into the forest and survive.
@@far5527 2. Makarov's men are still arriving. I doubt Shadow company is showing up in Hinds, also, if you pay closer attention to some of their uniforms (hard to do in this fast paced vid but it can be done), you notice that they are not all in Shadow company uniforms
@@michaelmorse4444 him being a bully doesn't have (much) to do with where he'll work, unless he carries on that attitude throughout life - the joke is that when you find your bully later on in life working at mcdonalds (since it's a minimum wage job) while maybe you're working somewhere much better, it's like karma
I like how Toad and Archer are right there with Roach and Ghost fighting along even though they’re support snipers They’re like: “Yeah, screw General Shepherd and his men, we never liked him anyways.”
@@dubstrap6095 The 3 and 4 campaigns can't possibly be cannon, as there's no relation to the 1 and 2 campaigns. The _zombies story_ IS though, as the story from 1 and 2 is continued in 3 and 4. Zombies is likely what you mean. EDIT: Changed the wording for the sake of clarity.
Not necessarily. His private hentai was just so legendary that he couldn’t allow anyone else to get their hands on it. There’s a reason there was a sex doll in the bath tub in this mission.
@@realunknown26 and besides, I'd rather have ghost and roach betrayed since it's iconic. Imagine if they never did, modern warfare 2 wouldn't be recognized as much (except for no russian)
I finished this game when I was 7. Gotta say, the true ending was traumatic. And whoever said that is is a therapy session for a CoD player couldn't be more right.
How I imagine it goes from there. While Roach and Ghost, and the soldiers who are on their side, get into the chopper and leave, Soap and Price do their same mission and escape with their own men as well. The mission were you aim to kill Shepard is now done by more than Soap and Price. Ghost and Roach accompany them, maybe infiltrating from another area, and they both have a small number of forces to accompany them. And so on.
I feel like this is a fever dream. I'm still not entirely sure that I'm watching what I'm watching. It feels like if I think about it too much, I'll wake up and it will be over. But I don't want it to be over. For the first time, reality doesn't seem anywhere near as appealing to me as the alternative. Don't pinch me. I want to stay in the dream world. I'll see you all on the far side.
It would have been cool if this mission ended in a wave based section where you have to fight off never ending hoards of enemies, like the end of halo reach
When the help comes it is price and soap. Then as unending waves happen one by one 141 falls. Now that would've been worse then soap dying in my opinion
@@skell6134 That's true, sadly, but if that's the case, then I can see a mission where Roach and Ghost basically tries to fight their way through the swarm of enemy soldiers fighting each other, like what Soap did; and succeeds as they find a temporal shelter to hide until reinforcements arrive. If Price and Soap's too far from their location to give reinforcements, I can see them being rescued by other characters instead, like the Loyalists for example.
Scarecrow: *_actually was back at the estate smoking cigarettes with Ozone_* Ozone: Hey Scarecrow, what the hell's with that gunfi- *_Both see the team and Shadow Company fighting one another after Price relayed the message_* Ozone: Hey, shall we go on and help 'em? Scarecrow: Give me a break... Fine. Let's go.
I love that the snipers are still alive even though they were actually killed by shadow company snipers so that they could not alert both Ghost and Roach about Shepherd
Man, they survived massive flocks of enemies and Roach healed up instantly when Price delivers the message lol. This is the ending we all wanted in a way, not Ghost and Roach getting lit up by Shepherd.
