I love your work! You look to have so many different mediums - including Scott's - to make the finished project just absolutely beautiful!... I really appreciate not hearing the background music while you were talking - it seemed to drown out what you were saying to us and in past videos it really get louder. ...the signature white sleeves just make your videos classy ! Beautiful. I like it sideways too. Some of my intuitive paintings have nice interludes but no central dynamic, so I cut them up with a deckle scissors, paste them onto a blank WC card, sign them and send them out as birthday/whatever cards. Everyone loves them.

I have many brands of watercolour paints, including Daniel Smith, Sennelier, Schmincke Horadam, all of which are great, BUT Mijello is the most vibrant of them all in my view. It's fantastic.

I don’t think it is either that’s why I usually mention you’ll need to use a UV protection spray over it. So far I’ve not noticed any issues with some of my pieces I’ve used it on.

Beautiful! It was so exciting to watch you create. It looked fabulous at so many stages then it just got better and better… amazing how it can change. I love it the best before the spray ink but I still really like it afterwards too. I love the dreamy blurry effect of the toilet paper…

I looked up the bleed proof ink, and the description sounds like it covers and is opaque. But that’s s not what I see as you worked. Could you tell me more about it? I have several colors or Dr. Martin India ink….are they useful?

The Bleed Proof White is a correction material made of pigment and water, so it is considered a watercolor but it is very opaque…it will cover ink! So if you use it, it has to be watered down, and I’ve learned how to do that with the correct brush and how much water is added. Note, this product can muddy a painting fast and can contaminate your paints if your not careful. As far as the India ink…its not the same as watercolor, as its staining and typically will not dry matte, there will be a sheen to those areas. But India ink can be fun with some water.

Great question. I could not find any information on the inks lightfast but it’s dye based so I would suggest a UV-resistant clear-coat spray.

I try loose wet on wet and end up with muddy colours

Use cotton paper when working with lots of water. Also, just know when you have a lot of water on a paper if you’re using pulp paper it will make puddles, and then those colors are come together and make mud. The cotton paper will help, but you do need to control that water, and keep in mind that cool and warm pigments when they come together they make mud, also opaque colors can make mud too

I found it cheaper to use a similar shaped makeup brush as a mop brush. I hope it helps 🙂 Sorry I'm really broke so dollar tree is a big art saver for me to get brushes to just practice with ❤️

I fully understand. I think the quill i love using is about $13 so its very reasonably priced and its a work horse.
