I just found your channel. I wish you were still doing videos ♥♥ I love this expressive loose painting, I enjoyed your explaining as you go...reasoning, encouragement and thought. Thank you Kevin for your time!! I'm gonna go watch the rest of your videos!
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much. Between your choo choo, nail scratching etc, you make it sound so easy and fun. How talented you are. Love your flower art. Looking forward to seeing some more.
Thank you so much for this. In between all the swooshing and enthusiastic demonstration, I just want to get up, run, swoosh and paint. Your tutorials are just so energetic, motivational and beautiful. Hope you are well and thank you again for sharing your talent.
I’m in the beginning stages of painting and I just came across your channel. I love your expressive style and method of explaining what you are painting ….and the use of colors ! I’m looking for more of your videos.
Might be my favorite one you have done. Just lovely!! Love your explanations of what you are doing the colors you are using. The brushes. So many people just paint and let you figure out what the heck they are doing. Thanks again. Make some more watercolor videos. Looking at it up close. Delicious paint!!
I appreciate your instruction in how to be loose and spontaneous. I love how you describe your use of colors, brushes, palette knife , etc. Beautiful work!
G'day Maureen Thank you for comments. A little hold up in video editing, editor involved in last period of Uni work. 30 videos in the pipeline, soon. Cheers
The painting is so fresh and full of light. I'm really inspired by your loose free style. I really need to work on it. I'm in love with watercolor, and do prefer the loose style. I already did another tutorial by you of a different vase and flowers. It's my most beloved work so far, hanging on the wall in my dining room and I enjoy watching it every day. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us.
Hello from Ontario, Canada! I just became aware of your videos yesterday, and am just loving them! You are a superb teacher. Cannot believe you don't have thousands more subscribers! Thank you!
G'day Carol Thanks for comments. I don't do the video editing. Editor involved in last bits of Uni work. Then free. 30 videos in the pipeline Cheers again
I love everything about your work, energy, videos, explanations, sound effects, and "philosophy" on what is or isn't "real art" or "real/serious/successful " artist materials and techniques. Imho, anyone can use a piece of burnt stick, ordinarily pencil, or ball point pen and practice "real art" on a paper bag. The art is in the doing. The quantity, specialness, endless variety, and cost of art materials rankles and disturbs me. I've recently been tempted to purchase more and pricier paints... really, I already have way more than enough to work with and enjoy! Thanks, and best wishes!!
Lovely demo. Thanks. I'm told by my British artist friends that "Not" stands for "not hot pressed". An old traditional term. Appreciate your comments regarding brushes and paints.
Lander on your channel accidental and I just love your expressive paintings. I’m sure you must have had a lot of happy students during your time of teaching🤩. 🙏🏻Thnaks from a Danish wc-beginner-fan
Hi Kevin. Thanks so much for your videos. I really appreciate that you share these with us. I have one question though. Because I'm trying to follow along and see what you are doing in relation to your photo it would be nice to have that in a large form to refer to. I see it near your painting but it isn't quite clear enough to see. The photo at the beginning of your video in a large form is of a different flower in a vase. I am learning so much from your free style and all of your commentary all through out your video. I really love the whole thing.
what a beauty! and appreciate the joy of painting and mixing colors in loose style. thank you so much for this awesome tutorial video, kevin. jesi from manila is happy.
I have to tell my husband about you....he thinks just like you...he can't stand artsy bullshitters...btw he is a woodworker and carver turned watercolourist.
