I like how all of the audience was calm and collected. I’ve seen some events in the US where a horse gets loose. And the audience acts like Godzilla is rampaging through the arena! Screaming and hollering do nothing to calm these animals! These people were all professional and aware of how to act.
Makes me sad to read all the comments of people calling these horses ugly, dish faced, over priced freaks.. they didn't ask to be bred this way. Just watching them in the ring, you can see they are smart and very confident. Their movements are beautiful and graceful. If your gonna call names.. call them at the breeders. Makes me sick to think these name calling fools own any animals at all. Bet those nasty name callers are ones that fill up kill pens with horses that don't appeal to them. SMH!
Well done. Also appreciated that the handlers were not jerking or working to get the horses excited. Arabian stallions have loads of presence and animation - they don't need to be turned into basket cases to show off.
I don’t like the way they have been bred to have those extreme chiseled heads, not normal. People are weird in how they think a horse should look to look good. Disgusting, in my opinion.
These are Arabians. We WANT them to show their true beauty and personalty along with correct conformation. Went to watch a Dressage class. It was so boring.Somebody opened an umbrella and a big ole warmblood FREAKED out. We make lots of noise in Halter classes !
We have two Arabs and they are so beautiful when they run! Best breed of horse ever! They are smart and quick learners. They don’t trust just anyone. You have to earn their trust!
The original Arabian had a sculpted delicate head, maybe slight dishing, that is seen on a lot of Arab crosses. The modern Arabian is a poor example. The old Arabian never had such a drastically dished head. I agree; I liked them before. Plus they bred them to be flashy and have hot temperaments. The original Arab mares lived in the tent with a family and rode into battle. Reliable horses.
why its not protocol for the ring steward to have a bucket of grain and spare halter always blows my mind. its a horse show. there is always a loose horse at some freaking point.
The bucket wouldn't be usefull, a spooked horse won't be interested in it till he feel he is in a safer place. The spare halter on the other hand should be mandatory you're right.
Poor horses go nuts with 'music' like that. They have very sensitive hearing. It drives me nuts only watching, imaging not understanding and having to listen to it all the time. Insanity.
He was the one I picked out as a personal favourite..Never seen such an unusual colouring before in a tail. He looked like a liver Chestnut, these can have paler manes and tails .
That's Arabic music, people. That's what they like to listen to over there. It's great to dance to. And it's no worse than all the country stuff they play at the rodeo.
Great Job all remained calm. These horses are use to the noise my guess the videographer was close to the speakers. Always good to see good horsepersonship even at halter.
That bloody banging music, surprised the whole lot of them didn't kick off. Horses are magnificent, beautiful and have such capabilities but they do get spooked so easily .... that whole environment just wasn't suitable, especially leading out stallions....
At least no one was trying to chase the horse and catch him, freaking him out even more. I see so many people chase a spooked horse causing more danger then need be. Let the horse calm down on its own to prevent him getting spooked and hurting himself and others. Jesus how many drinks do these people need, waiters just aimlessly walking around with a full tray of drinks 😂
That was a beautiful class, it must've been amazing to see in person! I'm glad that horse at the end didn't step on his leadrope since they all wear stud chains but he looked like he had a lot of fun haha
They are excellent endurance horses. Arabians almost always win the 50 and 100 mile races. They have big hearts and lungs compared to other breeds, and big nostrils that allows them to breath well at speed.
That's why petroleum prices are so high, so they can afford the $5000 meal while they purchase a $2,000,000 horse, so we pay $4.00 gal to fill up our $5000 truck to haul our $500 horses. But my $500 horse is still much prettier than any of these here!
Your gas is $4/gal because of all the stupid taxes and regulations strangling the development of refinery capacity. There are countries where gasoline is under $1/gal. Gas in China is $1.15/gallon right now. The average price per gallon globally is $1.53.
True. But in these Islamic countries if you smuggle in a bottle of Champagne to drink with your $5000 meal and they catch you, you get ten years in prison, a thousand lashes and maybe beheaded. So there is a trade-off.
@@barmizaharioudaki4693 Check out Saudi Arabia. A few years back a couple of Brits smuggled in some booze, got caught, were given long prison sentences plus 500/1000 lashes. Last I heard the UK was aghast and trying to get them sprung. Don't know what was finally done with them but I was appalled at the length of the sentence, to say nothing of that number of lashes.
Arabian horses have for centuries been described exactly as they look today. Google "Synbad," the national champion in 1959. Entire head looks exactly like horses running around in 2017.
The modern Arabian is not the original Arabian. Synbad looks nothing like the deformed dish faced creatures you see now. The breeders and judges confused his delicate sculpted look with dish faces and deformity.
They still have large airways and they're bred to have large nostrils that flare a lot to let in more air. The shape of the head changed, but the thickness of the airways didn't.
A lot of people don’t know this but that music can scare them I will know I was watching this near my 20 year old horse and she DOSE not get scared and she freaked out with bucking and rearing and I did it with another horse same reaction and as soon as I stoped the video they both calmed down
I don't blame those horses for getting irritated with that loud music I'm getting irritated too i have sensitive hearing too from loud noises 😳😳🤦🏾♀️😱😱
Arabian Horses are like Arab men.....hot blooded and unpredictable...I have had one and these horses are profoundly intelligent...amazingly so. They are prone to spooking and doing it often...which could result in the rider getting thrown...you MUST wear a helmet.
