Love this version of Loot as a mostly fair build. Excited to see what the storm variant looks like. Can’t imagine it’s anything other than degenerate fun, the best kind of fun

Loot can start netting extra cards without needing to attack or have both Pako/Haldan in play, and Loot let you play creatures where Haldan cannot, different advantages. Being cheaper and with extra protection also helps.

It’s wild I bought mayael anima for the land fall cards in the Yuma cards in the commander deck, added some huge creatures, untap target creature cards, juice. Pretty fun.

We need the other 2 deck techs! Lands is boring, everywhere and has always the same cards!

@@GammaBeastBoy Nobody said something about artifacts. I was thinking more about slime against humanity, since the cards count even if exiled. Synergies like that. Lands suck

@@SilentGe42 you said we need the other two deck techs. Which implies the other two he said he was brewing. Which were storm and ARTIFACTS. So yea someone said something about artifacts. And that is one of the things you need. What no one including you said was slimes against humanity. Would that be interesting sure. But when you hated on land decks you asked to see the build of an artifact deck and a storm deck. Where is slimes in that?

Sylvan Library seems like an odd choice? It triggers on your draw step, Loot triggers on your upkeep. So unless you can guarantee you won't draw or mill any cards until your next card, seems like an odd inclusion.

The only thing that prevents this from being absolutely cracked is it's not black. I'm stoked to see this little adorable Demon be played. I think some honorable mentions to really ramp out your card types would be running the OG and modern horizons artifact lands and urza's saga. Having an artifact land guarantees at least 2 cards exiled right from the get-go and they're usually the safest from removal

Loot specifies non land cards. So artifact lands and urzas saga actually wouldn’t count for any card type at all.
