with that knife you can finnaly open crates and containers. You could get oils and weapon parts from them on regular basis. Meaby some 9 mill ammo for the handgun. I am quite excited for the random loot from them.

Collecting patches just for "trophies" makes sense to me, using the odd one to repair armour ones is also fair. But im sure looty would rather collect ears or something Almost a waste of a 'nade that could have killed those hippy freedom boys (maybe blown the unwashed smell off)

I have a suggestion for a run, play the mysteries of the zone storyline, the doctor quest (it actually works without any bugs) with lootboxes. Best storyline quest, the endgame is pure madness with this storyline.

and i think you can use the vodka swap to ammo from NPC . it can help push the action forward but not help you too much iff u dont have good gun. you can make it difficult to combine it with black jack. Totally good roleplay rule i think

1:13:09 ouch. never would consider turning the good repair kit charge into 2x worse charges in a normal playthrough. the cost investment for what you get is just WAY too much. the basic sewing kits are always superior since you can use a wide range of supporting mats and per charge are cheaper to buy. but i can see the need to strech what you have in this case. In case you are interested, did a test with the white/blue toolbox: 40 of those turned into 6 gunsmithing tools. 40 Blue toolboxes turned into 3 gunsmithing tools. not too big of a sample size but give a rough indicator. most gunsmiting tools where in the 1.5kg white ones.

Just watched rest of the video. Missing unique NPC bug is something new - it happens in Escape from Pripyat mod where technician and food vendor (Spirit) vanish without a trace. Made multiple playthroughs and reinstalled more than once - and it still happens. Seems like Gamma is not safe either?

8:02 Isnt there a mechanic that increases the "difficulty" based on how many days you've been in the Zone? i.e Stalkers use better gear and mutants appear in larger packs. I could be wrong but i swear i've heard it mention somewhere before.
