The symphonic music in the Lord of the Rings trilogy is of course brilliant, but I always thought Blind Guardian could have done an amazing job on that soundtrack as well.
nah, they just dont fit the mood and their lyrics is primitive. Which is good for metal but not for a movie based on a book of a linguistics professor.
I subscribed,giblin.Why?Because: 1)Excellent video quality.VERY rare in 2015 indeed.Strange,isn't it? 2)Beautiful song 3)Brilliant movie 4)Astoninshing book. There you have it!
I love this version of the song, it's the first I've heard and still my favourite, it sounds more poignant to me. But I think it would sound even nicer with the addition of the chorus "I'll keep the ring full of sorrow" from the other version. Do you guys know if they ever did something like that, maybe in some live?
first time after more than 7 years of searching and not knowing the lyrics or anything i find this song. the old song i was listening when i was a child. the moment the video started all the memories of me sitting on the computer and watching this same video on winrar made me cry like a little bitch. and im fucking prood of it. thanks for putting this video man. no jokes thanks
guilmon182 - Hansi has said that the translation of the book he had as a child called the Dwarves 'Gnomes' and was quite frustrated to find out the species was in fact called Dwarves. That's why he changed the lyrics for the Orchestral version and all live versions ever since.
Excellent video, beautiful of all, amazing !, but you could do a favor? make this video with the instrumental version, that of the "i keep the ring full of sorrow ...." thank you! won an inscribed...
Thank you very much! I'll give a look at the old project: the fact is that the video and the clips follows this music, instrumental version might not work well with just a copy-paste of the track. For sure I will need to work on it a bit. I'll try maybe :)
Aglor At first I wanted to use the one from "Live", which is the best in my opinion. Still, the acoustic one has a different mood, as you said, and I preferred staying on the first released one.
