To be fair, this all HAD to have happened AFTER Vi became a cop so to speak, so Arcane Season 1 would have already happened. Presumably this could be one of many things Jinx does later on, and we have only had one season of Arcane so far, so who knows!?

MrTiger1765 I'm not sure where I remember it from but if I recall, it has to do with the fact that she originally was just a quiet and nice girl in the gang. She treated them as family and when they split up or died, jinx lost the final thing keeping her stable. Vi left, everyone else split or died and jinx lost it. After that she become a psycho.

I know there was a quiet girl from piltover or zaun that disappeared around the time that Jinx showed up, but i dont think it was ever directly connected to Jinx

MrTiger1765 Yes but it's also true that jinx was originally in the gang. Her personality was that of a quiet/shy/nice girl. Ekko confirms that she was normal and in the gang prior to the gang splitting up. Ekko confirms she was mentally stable and had a crush on her when she was in the gang. Ekko confirms Vi used to be in the gang but left. The gang split shortly after Vi split. Jinx disappeared after the gang split only to come back as the psycho deranged girl that we know in league. The current jinx has something of a hatred/vendetta/ seeks the attention of Vi the most. Nothing is confirmed but it can be speculated that jinx was only stable due to her family aka the gang members. Vi leaving was seen as a betrayal and the gang breaking up was seen as her losing her place to belong along with her family. She most likely turned crazy from her assumption that Vi betrayed them and caused their family to disappear. Ekko hates Vi for the same reason. Ekko knows jinx isn't who she used to be.

sarah sobrian They aren't. It's just Jinx treated the gang like family. She used to be quiet and shy and her family was the only thing keeping her stable. After Vi left, the gang split up or died, she lost it, become mentally unstable and turned into the jinx that we know today. Ekko confirms this more when he comments that he used to love Jinx before she turned crazy.
