Guy appeared, got his background and dissapeared from lores. I belive he has one of the craziest ones, he knows all the secrets and doings of gods and celestials. It would be amazing if he, Rhaast and Varus revealed some. Their rise and fall stories would be awesome too and time spent with the void. They must have learned something and saw insane horrors, maybe they even talked with the void gods or just creatures like Velkoz. They probably had connection with other gods like Illaois and and Freljord demi gods. They were in celestial realm 100%, Aatrox got his greatsword from there 100% to kill void creatures.

As an Yorick main, I get really upset at Riot. Like he has a lot of potential, his interactions with maiden are really interesting and he has REALLY deep quotes that makes me dream with the day that Yorick could encounter Viego.
There are things called "fan favourites" and "fan service"...so champs like Yasuo Ahri Riven and many unnecessary champs who have no relation to ruined king story must appear.
Imagine yorick comes and checks in with him now that he's trapped and riot actually makes him kinda play therapist as a humble man who isolde "picked" I love the idea that the maiden is actually the one who releases viego on the assumption she's still around
And he has so much potential with just the ability to talk with the dead before they pass, because correct me if I'm wrong kindred just kills them and more just uses the souls, so if Yorick gets a lore buff he could best morde
Teemo needs lore and Poppy is rather autistic coded (I'm autistic myself) and I'd love for her lore to have more interactions with mageseekers or Sylas to see how they react.

I like Veigar's story the best because it's pretty simple yet pretty entertaining with a lot of possibilities you can expand on Like imagine Veigar killing the void so he can "outevil" them?
Not to mention the underlying tragedy and possible hope of him healing through his trauma through friends like stilted robemaker , Senna , Galio from LOR etc. Is really good. My favorute champions.
I think the reason Vi and Jinx have vague biographies, it’s because of arcane and the creators wanted the show to explained more and have us to assemble the pieces.
@@OPGardevoir yes I’m aware of that but cmon!!!! The interactions between Vi, Jinx and Warwick just makes a lot of sense now and I know when reworking WW they new they wanted to link them. It might not be canon now but who knows after season 2.

@@legoshirocha there are some things that really cant be fixed just by explaining more like jayce going from caring about people to suddenly not giving a damn and caring more about fame in order to match the main lore or vi getting her first gauntlets from jayce rather than a mining robot (I swear to you, only reason they made and named it was to explain vi's gauntlets)
I think Neeko's story of trying to find new people for her tribe is pretty cool. I think we should get a story of it. Like a story where she travels to the Freljord

I liked it when she knew it was the screams and torture of skarner's people and just didn't care and told no one to me it really gave personality to her but then they removed that leaving her with nothing
Veigar should have easily been in A. His bio and story while mostly comedic also deeply tragic and a little hopeful. Veigar despite all the torture and misarey he has gone through still fundementally a good person. Garen getting a friking novella and not other hundred interesting characters is still mind boggling to me. A novella about the flat white bread of LOL characters.
yhea in lol he is not interesting(and i hate him with every cell of my body) but in the lore he is seriously amazing (but carrryed by lux and i didn't read teh novela)
You should really make a video about how to get into lol's lore. I think a lot of people that watch you channel want to get into the lore, and read the comics and such, like me, but have no idea where to start or what to read. The world is so incredibly expansive and deep that I feel like I wouldn't even understand half the things going on the stories. Your perspective on where to start and what to read, especially with the void event coming up would be very much appreciated.
Best way to get into lol's lore is reading the bio your main has, then start connecting the dots from there, for example jarvan iv, then garen or shyvana, then some noxian, etc...
As a vladimir player i hope that the void event is the big thing to push him out of his self quarantine and his lore would give reason to a vfx update that he so desperately needs.

7:49 Based on Swain and Fiddlesticks's in-game interactions with Jinx, I can asure that her backstory is somewhat similar to Arcane. Same for all the Piltovans and Zaunites.
@@motafu1 in some sort of "leaks" it was said to be rem'ora, because in the season teaser i think they said that name. Then people found out through other, probably twitter, leaks, that her name would be Bel'Veth, and was later confirmed that remora are (as far as i know) the small "void fish" she spawns and has in her cinematic. Plus remora is an actual species of fish, so it makes greater sense.
random suggestion : it might be good to also add these tier lists at the end of every videos to see how the character progresses, from tier lists to strength, to lore, to lore quality
I love how Necrit goes "Oh this champion's lore is rich, many great stories, blah blah" and then tier A. And then, he goes to another champion "This champion is meh but has only one great funny story... A". Like ??¿ the same happens with some champions in C - F tier. He compliments a lot and then F, he barely talks about other character and then C... Something's not clicking

I feel like we are getting to the climax of the last 5-8 years of lore building, and they are setting up larger arcs or new arcs, its super exciting and i can't wait to see where it all goes

idk, I don't mind Sera's design, it just shows that there can be very different types of people in the same place, like, it would be boring if all zaunites dressed dark and gloomy even after they became their own nation and supposedly their conditions improved. Sera just shows a different side of current Zaun that's closer to piltover but in a less restrictive way, u could say Sera and Zeri are the new generation that didn't have to suffer through the war like the rest did

I feel like A tier is for perfectly structured backstories and personalities but S tier adds a bit of uniqueness that enhances the characters overall. Like Sylas' comes with a strong message and core element of world building
Let's go Garen! I love his lore, although I wish there were more stuff on his relationship with Lux. Him watching Lux leave in the comic though was so heartbreaking.
There is alot more that can be used, his ultimate and swain interaction whit him about magic, it could be all repress because of his traumatic past. Hell they could even explore his connection with Kayle as a decendant/reincarnation/avatar.
@@Xandozo i saw that more as him unknowingly carrying magical equipment into battle rather than garen himself being a mage. little known fact (in universe) that petricite absorbs and stores magic, and garen has been using petricite sword and armor in many, many battles against mages
I would love for you to periodically come back to this same chart/list and move certain champions around with new updates to lore that happens, could be a little series and videos on the 'maybe' shorter side for you lol.
i now realise how many characters have lore where something is about to happen riot could make the void event small scale with the obvious characters in it or they could make its story span across runeterra and push forward many lore stories at once
Pantheons is my favorite. Its hard to relate to gods demons and monsters, but there is a lot you can learn from panth about the power of sheer will of a human
I feel like with the void event, it should explore more of what each void creature is. Kog’Maw and Cho’Gath could have big potential. Go more into the idea of how Kha’zik evolves more and Rek’Sai with the pack. It might be hard since half of these champions don’t really talk but it’s makes me sad that most void champions with good stories are the humans that enter it rather than the monsters that come out of it. From what I keep hearing, the void is filled with countless creatures. I want to gain so much hope in the idea that Riot is planning to do something big for the the Void and it’s Champions as a whole.
The thing that pisses me off, as a Hecarim main since s2, is when they reconned his lore and made him into this shit Assassins Creed side quest target of a character. Just some asshole general that only exists on the periphery of other people's stories. He used to be the Shadow of WAR, the vengeful spirits of all those that died in battle, coming back to haunt those who would repeat the mistakes of the past. He was less of a one directional side character and more like a force of nature, a spirit endemic to the world, and it suited him so much better. I think with his old lore, he has a much better potential to integrate with other people's stories and the world in a meaningful way. His new character is barely relevant to anything and is so limited to who he can meet and influence. It just sucks. He used to be my favourite character. Now he's like a WoW mob.
God i wish my voidy bois + rek'sai got more lore, all of them are very unique and i wish that we'd get to see the perspective of a monster from void more often
For a long time now, riot released champs that can be categorised into male/female, under male > Muscles (all male champs), Abs With Muscles (Akshan, Viego, Sett), Animals with muscles (Sett, Rakan)... under females > Muscles (Glasc, Rell, Samira), Anime Girls (Zeri, Vex, Gwen, Trash)... last proper unique champion was Ornn and that was 2017...
Renata is muscles but she’s really cool! Viego and Sett’s muscles also justified, even if the lore isn’t mind blowing. I actually like Viego’s lore, just not how much of a mess the event made it. I like Sett a lot even if he isn’t a deep character. And for the same reasons I like Sett I ADORE Rakan. So very much. He is everything.
Can you stop bitching about things, Ornn is cool but holy shit, is it too hard for you to see some of the champions lore? How kayn and zed have a really good father/son relationship even tho they are fucking bananas, I hate when ppl only judge champions by their designs alone, viego had a good lore because he is the type of person that you could easily find in real life and his desing reflects how childish he acts
@@viniciuspasquali1801 No one said anything about judging champs by their design alone, some of these champions do have interesting lore, some have one that can easily be expanded, however, it is a fact that riot has not released a non humanoid champ in many many years.
I think a vid on where champs are currently after ruination and before the void and how the void might affect them would be really cool just like the atreus story how he witnessed the power of Viego and got depressed and is now starting to move again after being convinced that he got no other choice
So what if Arcane was made canon? What would that do for the characters in it? to me that would put Jinx, Vi, Jayce, and Viktor up to S, Caitlyn and Ekko in A, and Hemerdinger and Warwick into B (with both ready to move up depending how Season 2 goes)

As a Twitch main, I fully agree with F. Despite I love the rat, he needs something more than a police report or stories that sound like a Zaun version of "Fishermen's Tales" I would be fine if he just ends up being the thing that kicks off a Zaun event. Such a simple idea, he just shows up somewhere to scavenge around, touches something he isn't suppose to, activates something that sends off a chain of events or something like that. Or condense it down to a smaller story. Have Ekko near by, spot something bad happening, sees Twitch running away and grabs him by his tail and interrogates him, forcing Twitch to help clean up the mess he caused, even if it wasn't on purpose. Why Ekko? Would be fun as a tease to Ekko's line when he sees Twitch. That and Ekko is the only one I can think of in Zaun to be willing to grab Twitch and tell him to fix his mess while helping with it as anyone else in Zaun I feel would just try to kill him on sight, for the most part.
I think its great that there are very little champions with bad or no lore. almost every champ has something interesting going on even if its not fully fleshed out yet. hopefully they keep up the work they are doing and hit us a few lore bombs this year that really change world.
@@Devil-to3uj they were not darkins at that time. They were ascended god warriors. They fought against the void and became mad after death of the emperor. Then they became darkin when they started using bloodmagic and started to wage wars against eachother to see who will be the leader of the ruined empire.

Having so many demacian champions ranked that high shows how much Riot has put in as it is otherwise the most boring region of all. I don't expect a tier list of 140 champions made in 20 minutes to be well elaborate, but one suggestion I can make is something like a C* tier for the "this champion has good setup but it haven't lead anywhere yet" or "this is being held back because all the stories are cliffhangers" because there were a lot these.
where can we find all the stories, i feel like the official site doesnt have everything. For exemple it doesnt have the story where brand finds the rune, it just mention it vaguely.
This video alone proves that Riot messed up making Arcane it's own side universe instead of cannon lore. It would be easy to tie in Vi, Singed, and Viktor, who have decent/good lore, to the world of Arcane, and Jinx, WW, Ekko, and Jayce benefit greatly from the boost to their lore. Instead, they're just meh at best.
I suspect Riot cuts small parts of the current lore to make Arcane canon in time. They're probably just waiting for more content in Arcane to be able to do so because they don't want to jump the gun with such a potentially game changing project.
