Loretta Lynn your songs and music will live on for ever. With ❤️ love and admiration, from one of your biggest fan's ever since I was a little girl, now at 59 I'm still one of your biggest fans ❤️ I'll always be your biggest fan ❤️.
Loretta has always reminded me of my maternal Grandmother. My grandma was born poor in Kentucky during the great depression and grew up in very similar circumstances. Even Loretta’s mannerisms, personality, and sense of humor remind me of her. I hope they both know how much we loved them, and will continue to love them until we meet again.
Patti Loveless voice sends chills down my spine. I grew up in the mountains of Southeastern, KY and that old world sound was all around me. You can hear the love, heartache and perseverance all in just her voice. Loretta was truly touched by this performance. We will always love you, Loretta. Sleep in the arms of God.
I cannot believe this has already been so long ago. Loretta was me of the last of the true, classy Country Legends. Besides Dolly who is still with us thankfully! (Jan., 2024)
Loretta looks so classy & beautiful here. She is why this gal raised on rock n roll & swing music switched to listening to country music. Her songwriting & singing were so unique.
I loved and admired Loretta. She never forgot where she came from. Loretta and George Jones were the heart and soul of country music. No one will ever fill those shoes.
Loretta you will never die as long as I live since your songs live on inside me. From a Appalachian perspective, you are and always will be country music. Thank you for all you gave to us, your fans ❤️
I became a fan when she was on Merv Griffin in the 70's ,her personality and honesty won me over. I had never heard any of her songs till I watched Coal Miners Daughter. She will be greatly missed. So sorry for her family.
R.I.P QUEEN LORRETTA you were truly the queen of country music. You & Conway can sing in heaven with George & Tammy & etc. Prayers for the family. Thanks for all the music & memories you gave us. You will truly be missed.

I live in Belligham, WA. Whatcom County. Loretta and DOO lived either in Laurel or just outside Lynden, WA. My School Bus would pass Bob’s Tavern on Portal Way in Blaine WA. Portal Way aka Pacific Highway. The Building was torn down 35 years ago.
@@marknoonan4720 My bad. It was indeed Custer, WA where they lived and I believe she said she played at a club in Blaine, WA. I want to say one of the clubs was called The Grange Hall. But she also said she played at many clubs around the area. Doo kept her busy. lol Thanks for the information.
And in all these Country Music Awards to Loretta Lynn Dolly Parton is nowhere to be found you think she would support one of her best friends as she called her
@Tony Harris. That is correct but up until the last ten years or so of her life, her birth year was stated as 1935. I've seen her and Doo's headstone and even it has her birth year as 1935. It was put on the headstone when he died in 1996, so I wonder if someday the family will change it to the correct year of 1932?
@K Jones I think Patti's performance made Loretta much more emotional than the other ones paying tribute to her. The other performances were light-hearted and upbeat whereas Patti's was more serious and sentimental. I believe Loretta was making an earnest effort to keep her emotions in check.
