ENJOYED THIS .. STILL LOVE TO WATCH HER MOVIES.. MISS THOSE DAYS.. GOOD OLD DAYS. WE WERE THE LUCKY GENERATION .WE HAD PROBLEMS AN WE WEREN'T PERFECT..BUT WE DIDNT HAVE THE TRASH TO WATCH... KIDS TODAY HAVE NO CLUE. .
I watched Daughter Judy Lewis on soap operas, had no idea she was Loretta's daughter!! And son Christopher Lewis was a sports newscaster,or maybe news too,on major tv stations in Tulsa Oklahoma. Had no idea who his mother was until during President Ronald Reagan was campaigning his son Michael came to Tulsa,Chris interviewed him. Talked about them growing up together, showed pictures of their home, and who his mother was!! Seems like they had a big house on several acres, and a citrus orchard ,which became a housing addition after it sold. I loved the Loretta Young show!! Her dresses, classy moral looks, themes, and when she came through the door!!
Having read Ms Lewis " book about her situation with her mother , Ms Young , I found no favoritism shown between these siblings from their mother . All three siblings seem to be on the same page . A testiment to Ms Young . These people were brought up well .
Rosemarie Chibi Me too. The show came on at 1:30pm and I did my ironing while I watched! I just now finished watching the final posted episode! Loved every single minute; my kids too! Maranatha!
I remember watching the Loretta Young show with my mom. I think it might have been in around 1957. My mom was a widow and we had our first black and white console tv. We only watched a few programs with her in the evenings. I was about 8-9 years old another show was the hit parade. I know my mom loved Loretta Young so much and we did too. Thank you for this video !
She definitely earned the right to get her good morals out to the public. She is very missed. The three of you should do more of this. Her lessons are even more needed in this day and age. She was the best.
I've always idolized Loretta Young. I watched her throughout my childhood and all the way through her career. Recently I have started rewatching her shows. Thank you her children, for the gift to us, her fans, of sitting down and and talking about your Motnrr and facts about her shows. The more I learn about her the more I admire and respect her very much. She was a beautiful, talented lady and I hope to meet her in heaven.
Christopher, I am one of your old fans from the news/weather program in Tulsa, Ok . I highly respected your dear mother’s faith, character, and of course her talent!! Maranatha
