Does the local storage overwrite itself when it is full, similar to the security camera system? Or do you have to pop it off the wall to clear the data periodically?
I have now had 3 doorbells sent to me to try to fix the same issue, they do not even list any 5Ghz Wi-Fi networks as being available. I have about 5 different case numbers that have all been closed without the initial problem getting fixed. You can't just keep sending me doorbells when there is nothing wrong with them other than they are not configured to connect to 5Ghz neworks in Canada. I have told the 1st level phone support each time that the problem can only be fixed by a firmware update to the doorbell but all they do is send me another doorbell to try.
When you say it's wired, does it have power and video signal over wire, connected straight to the NVR? (Like the same as the power over ethernet Lorex cameras.)
If paired with Lorex NVR, can the data be stored on NVR hard drive via Wi-Fi connection? As shown, if a thief rips the doorbell off the wall and steals it, they steal the footage too. That doesn't sit well with me.
No 5ghz band. On the box and even on the door bell device it says dual band but no its a lie. I bought this after watching your video. Video quality is okay not the best.
Yes it does..I prefer the black myself but we are getting the cameras as well which only come in white so we’ll probably stick with white. Even tho the black looks sleeker and more modern
These cameras a a significant problem. They have a lithium battery inside that becomes defective over a short time +/- 2 years. The battery swells and disconnects the transformer power from the circuit board. You will be out of warranty and will have to buy a new camera.
Yes, you can by sharing like Mike M mentioned. A helpful tip is to make sure you "make the Lorex account" before you share the camera to that email address. Otherwise, you have to delete the share and then repeat the process.
DUDE, DO NOT USE a power drill to run those small screws into the wall. You are asking to easily strip out what would be a good hold. Geez people. I watched a guy put a door knob on a door fighting with a power drill. All you need is a screw driver and your hand.
Good 2k door camera. I started a diet new years day and when I saw myself yesterday on this camera's video I thought I had failed. Makes you look wide/fat as hell. Anyone know why, is it just the lenses? Like the way it's built?
This doorbell does everything except ring the chime box, replaced transformer and chime box to what lorex says is compatible and this pos still wont ring the chime box. All tech support does is give me the run around don't buy this pos!
So was this a sponsored video? It sure seems like it. Totally unrealistic and was not critical at all. This doorbell has a ton of negative reviews. You don't compare it with other video doorbells, which means they gave you a free product so you would give them a nice review?
Unfortunately not the only video/review that appears to fall into this category. Lifes real challenge seems to be finding reviews that present decent equipment and that answers the questions most of us are interested in. Unfortunately the documentation/information provided by most manufacturers is so appalling, videos like this are essential to provide basic information about their equipment; probably a good indication of how crap the equipment in question is going to be.
