I think it was disrespectful of Lori's lawyers to be talking while a victim impact statement was being read. She sat there slumped in her chair with no expression. She has caused so much damage.
I noticed that as well. My heart hurts for each family member, loved one and of coarse each person Lori, Chad and Alex murdered or played a part in. I grew up with a Mormon Mom and she is a monster too. She did evil things to me and others and told me constantly that I would never go to heaven because I am not Mormon among many other cruel things. I understand abuse all too well and it truly hurts to know what they did to the children as well as everybody. You learn somehow to cope with what you endure yet you never get over it. So many people think or say just get over it. Abuse comes in many forms and changes people forever. I agree with you. Her lawyers are disrespectful and what Lori said was as well.

How a mother could say things like that to her child I cannot fathom. I lost my young son a year ago due to carfentanyl in marijuana, he had just graduated eight years of college. His statement probably gave her the strength and happiness she needs to continue damaging other people. So many of these people are enabled into their worst evils.

Based on what I have read about the Cox family, from present to Lori's past, there was and still is a lot of dysfunction, narcissism, and apathetic behavior that runs deep. According to others that have known the Cox family and Lori, this characteristic goes way back. Research and investigation into this family dynamic, likely being done now will reveal things that will answer questions.

The only ones that seem to have accepted and processed what happened are Colby and Adam. Summer kind of accepted because she can’t deny the reality at this point, but I remember she always asking Lory to explain because she wanted to understand, like if there was any logical explanation for this. Yes, Chad is really bad, but Lori’s downfall started earlier than that, she has some grandiose thing going on and that is why she ended pursuing loonie Chad. They are both equally responsible, her mom and sister had to accept it literally the day the kids were found, until then she couldn’t see anything wrong with her daughter’s actions and allowed Lori to alienate her from her own son and grandkids. Even now that she accepts Lori did it, she is still distant with Allan, he says they speak mundane subjects and the family doesn’t touch any of this situation with him, she should have realize by now that is the son she can trust and be working in repairing that relationship. Lori keeps being the golden child and maybe that is why the mother didn’t gave a victim statement.

The fact that he did not go in person to "stand and deliver," shows that he may be in a very bad place, mentally. He had the chance to really pack a wallop - call Blondezilla out for firing that second shot into Charles, and for being present while Chin and Cox suffocated JJ - also call out freaky Mel G, Mel P and David W., saying that THEY knew all along what happened to the children, yet KEPT THEIR MOUTHS SHUT! Faced with these TRUTHS, he could have possibly brought Blondezilla to her knees. Instead, he had someone else deliver the statement for him, and at the end of the day, it made NO impact.
