Im in a lucky position in my life where i havent lost anyone significant to me, but these songs delve so deeply into the subject i can imagine and feel the pain also. I can imagine the anger someone would have in this situation and seeing all the comments on these videos, i can see how this masterpiece has helped so many people go through their sorrow and guided them away from the path of self-harm. It is amazing what music can do. Never would i have imagined to describe a deathcore songs as a "ballad" or "beautiful" but this trilogy fills those words to the point. Love your reactions so far, cant wait for the finale! If you want to delve deeper into Lorna Shore i highly recommend songs like Sun/Eater and Soulles Existance (bring lyrics to this one!)

Such a good trilogy. Appreciate you covering them, excited for the third. Lyrics next to you in these songs make it a much more impactful experience, that's true, but they're written so well on their own that it could be a standalone poem forreal, I feel it too. Love from Denmark :)

@@jodyandamanda I'm here for whatever metal/rap adventure you're on, and Lorna Shore is quite heavy but in a great way. i feel like the desperation/emotion/engagement in metal music really touches some innate place in me, that not everyone really gets. I suppose I have a thing for edgy/dark/emotional subject matter, I feel like you get it. The reason i bring it up, is that Lorna isn't the conventional gateway band into metal music, they've solodified a spot among the heaviest of metal bands (that are still melodic) but play with musical things like chorus and melodies, etc. It's just cool to see people "get" it, cus just as many people dont really, but like the "cool fast drums" or whatever it may be. Sorry for ramble, I just see you going places, been following many reactora from basically nothing and you're killing it (that intro too? Sexy stuff, very tasteful and I love your enthusiasm for music.) Love back to LA, cool ;)

This trilogy is absolutely devastating. It's such a shame that deathcore and metal in general are written off by so many people just because of the initial reaction people have to the sound. Thanks for taking the time to try to understand this art form.

Your review of the lyrics in part one really hits home for me. So many people hear music like this and assume that it's trash or the devil's music; when in reality, it is so much more than that. This is such a great example of how exquisite deathcore CAN be. Thank you for giving it attention!

It’s not a weird place to stop the songs, it’s a 3 part trilogy and they all play together as one song, so when you listen to it on album it just flows continuously

10:15 Lorna are really good at building tension throughout their songs, it’s part of what makes those breakdowns so explosive and rewarding. Love the vids, you got a sub from me!

It’s awesome to see when people take the time to really hear and see the talent these type bands have. I saw a video where the singer Will Ramos got the inspiration for this trilogy. It’s just as sad.

Will the vocalist writes the lyrics for the band, also on the actual album all three parts are all one long song so they flow seamlessly right into each other, they just had to cut them for the music vids. Loving the reactions so far though
