I have major doubt whether we have enough there to have a potent offense and defense has talent but questions at all 3 levels. Can the interior dline to their part? Will the young LBs hold up? Can we get competent play at cb?

Similar for me. Although, Hortiz said they got a good offer to trade down, but just weren't going to pass on Alt, and I absolutely hate that. Hortiz wanted an overpay when fair value would have been worth it for this team right now. You could have converted 5 overall into 2 early 2nds, and 3 early 3rds, picking up a combo like Jackson Powers-Johnson, Cooper DeJean, Cooper Beebe, Jonah Eliss, and Roman Wilson instead of just Joe Alt. I still think the people who are mad about Alt at 5 because it wasn't a WR are idiots. If you stick and pick, Alt was definitely the best pick. We just should have traded back instead.
