The Dodgers and DBacks were delayed by two hours thanks to some bees, and then the Dodgers were walked off on in extras. It was a bad night for the offense, following up a no strikeout day with nine strikeouts. Landon Knack was solid once again though. Also, would Chris Taylor accept being optioned to the minors if possible? Jose Abreu is doing so with the Astros and that got us thinking. Lastly, MLB and the powers that be are reportedly going to fix the uniforms and all the issues that came up from players and fans. It's about time.

according to an article released by true blue LA on 2 nov 2017 (the day after they lost G7), chris taylor had 1 option year remaining … used in 2015 and 2016 but not 2017. so he would still technically have an option year … assuming he would consent to it.

Cold bats ? Were you guys watching the same game they had the lead all they needed was 3 more outs the problem isn't the lineup it's the bullpen they can't shut the door on a game if their lives depended on it and dave Roberts ain't helping either

These guys defend roberts no matter what that’s why I stopped listening to them I was just curious what they were going to say today that’s why I’m here. Roberts fucked up and all of a sudden his making up bs about “Phillips wasn’t available” all of a sudden after he fucks the game up

So let me get this straight. You think Phillips WAS available but Roberts thought Crismatt for two innings was a better option? Cool story. And yes, when the bats score three runs in 10 innings, two of which scored on a wild pitch and a balk, yes, that's an example of the bats being cold for that game. The bullpen has been outstanding the last couple weeks; unfortunately, in this instance, they got to a point where there only options were Crismatt and Varland, and they couldn't get it done.

@@LockedOnDodgers why would he not be available he pitched Saturday didn’t pitch Sunday pitched on the day before on Monday. Has he not pitched back to back games before am I missing something? Also if that’s the case and all of a sudden they don’t use him on back to back games which is bs because his done that plenty of times then roberts shouldn’t have brought him in on Monday with a 4 run lead. Cool story If we listen to the two of you we would think roberts is the goat of all managers I haven’t heard you guys criticize him once no matter what he does and so many people are like you guys that’s why all these years with top talent in the playoffs all we have to show for is our Mickey Mouse 2020 ring and it will continue as long as your daddy roberts is in there

I mean, you already said you stopped listening to us, so when do you expect to have heard us criticize him? We do criticize him sometimes, when we think he does something worth criticizing. To people who think everything he does is wrong, thought, that's not nearly enough, because yeah, we think the winningest manager in MLB history might be a decent manager. As for Phillips, it was pretty clearly explained. If he had pitched last night, it would have been five times in eight days, and that's not something they're willing to do at this point in the season.

@@LockedOnDodgers anyone they hired in 2015 would have the same record or better with a couple of rings to show for it with the top talent and highest payroll year after year. I just want to see my team win I’m tired of some excuse being made every year for roberts I just don’t know how many times he has to cost us the playoffs until he gets fired how many times does he have to pull out a starter pitching great or keep a reliever in the game who can’t get a out before all the fans are united and want him fired there’s always excuses for him the guys the worst playoff manager of all time and the luckiest manager of all time as well due to the team he inherited
