Been watching the Sox since the mid-50s and THIS team is tops...and that goes back to the Ted Williams, Jimmy Piersall, Jackie Jensen, Frank Malzone, Don Buddin, Billy Klaus, Dick Gernert, Sammy White and Tommy Brewer days.

Red Sox fan living in LA here, so happy David Price took home a W. All you heard on the radio was crying and complaining, and guys like Stephen A. Smith and Steve Mason taking for granted that David Price would choke. So happy for him!! Let's go Red Sox!!!

LA with bases loaded none out could have turned it around. But no plate discipline, Price survived. This was the last 2018 game at Fenway. Red Sox are perfect 5 of 5 on the road this post season - LA is toast.

I read an article the other day that said there are four year old children in NE that have never seen the Sox win a world series, win it for the children, for the children.

The Red sox are possibly the best 2 out scoring team I've seen in my 45 years of watching baseball.

The 2018 Red Sox are much like my 2017 Astros. Just a better version. Great pitching, solid hitting, constant pressure on the base paths, great defense. Meanwhile, I believe the 2018 Dodgers, though a very good team, have taken a noticeable step back from their 2017 team. This series had all the makings of a laugher and we're witnessing just that. Congratulations to former Astros bench coach Alex Cora and his (pending) 2018 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox.

David Price is a good postseason pitcher!!! Wow!! He turned it around!

Another pitching change by Roberts that didn't work out. In contrast, when Price was in a pickle, the Red Sox cut their losses holding the runner at second, and Price was able to get out of it. He pitched 2 more good innings after that. Stuff like that boosts your confidence. Roberts (mis/over)management cost LA the last World Series and they stand less of a chance now against the Red Sox.

when I see David price pitching is a great experience, I remember when I saw the first time David price playing for Tampa bay rays, there are a lot of Latin youngs in the red sox's team and I feel proud because I am latin too, red sox will be the champions, let's go sox

Last year the Dodgers had a good chance, but this Red Sox team is way too much. There was 4 teams in the AL that had better records than anyone in the NL and the Red Sox knocked out 2 of them who won 100 plus games, they’re making this look easy.

Teams in the World Series that have gone up 2-0 have won the series 84% of the time. This series will be no different. If the Dodgers win, I'll man up and give my props to them, but it's highly unlikely they'll beat Boston. The Dodgers are on the wrong side of this statistic. This Boston team is too good to relinquish this lead. Best of luck, L.A., you're going to need it.

It's good that the Sox took the first two home games. I think we're going to see different games in LA with Sox starting two righties. I'll be happy if Sox take at least one game in LA. Game 3 is the most uncertain with Porcello on the mound versus Beuhler. And the LA line up is going to be better in the next couple of games. Sox have a better chance in games 4 and 5. Almost want Cora to put in E. Rod to start to screw with Dave Roberts and make him over manage his team some more. Haha! Anyway, Sox can definitely take at least one there.

The last two seasons a real good Red Sox team came off as unlikeable to many fans. Good players but some funky personality crap going on. Cora's addition has brought the best out of the team as players and personas. But I have to say, I don't think anyone (other than the Sox) saw this bullpen turning it around and be so good when it really matters. It started as expected but through each series has gotten better and better. The confidence is allowing the talent to rise up... Go Sox!

Good game. Not quite as entertaining as game one IMO. I thought Ryu was really on a mission for a while. Low pitch count and keeping Boston guessing. A couple of good at bats and some timely hitting was all it took for Boston. Price got out of his jam and the Boston bullpen was lights out. I do think Fenway and the weather is a good advantage for the Sox's. We'll see if the LA at home has anything for Boston. If LA get's 2 wins it's a new series. GO SOX!!!!

I’m suprised how Kinsler and Moreland didn’t win one in Texas at the beginning of the decade, but by the end they won one with their former teammate who was their manager at the time, because Rn kinsler retired and Moreland is a FA, in Cora, who actually played with the rangers in his final year of playing baseball in, you guessed it, 2010

Dodgers weren't suppose to make it, and after game 2 its clearly evident. Bostons pitching consist of Price, Sale, Kelly (who is impressing me every game so far), portcello, Kimbrel is 6/6 in saves. Those 5 alone are too much for the dodgers. Similar to their football team the patriots, The ONLY way you will beat these teams is by burying them without a chance of a combat. They simply do not have enough consistent hitters to do enough damage.

I think Boston is playing some fantastic baseball. What they did to Houston was incredible. LA still has a chance but they need to win Game 3. Otherwise Boston will run away with this. They have a very good team.

why does Roberts have hernandez in the starting line if he hasnt been hiting anything. why does he put in madson when he struggled the dah before and you have baez that has been a beast.. bad managing and those damn strikeouts are going to be the end of the dodgers.. so dissapointed.

Via Boston Sports Media Dave Dombrowski has taken a lot of heat for some of his mid season acquisitions. Pearce was considered a good add but Kinsler and especially Eovoldi were not. The sports show host were harping on the lack of bullpen help... Should the Sox close out this series Dombrowski's moves will have all had a positive impact on this post season. Especially Eovoldi...

Baseball was slow and boring enough when games were twice as fast and there were a sane amount of pitching changes. Tom Seaver recently stated that he stopped following baseball once he noticed that few starting pitchers were going past five innings. Compared to the game of the past, today's game is simply very difficult to watch and enjoy. Sadly, it may be a long road to get the game back to its previous glory, if at all possible at this point.

Another baffling BP move by Dave. Madson clearly stated at the conference he takes longer to warm up in cold weather....yet he uses him AGAIN with bases juiced. To me that was just a dumb move. You had Baez there! He has been the most effective pitcher WHY NO USE HIM IN THAT SITUATION? Dave having me shaking my head...but that's not the real problem with this Dodgers team. The offense is ice cold...but that can also because Muncy and Joc are sitting on the bench when they should be playing from the start. Enough of Kiki he's been bad.
