Sadly it was about the only time the building was loud tonight, it was also not very full, I was in the 200's and my entire row had 4 people actually in it, very dissappointing
@@mattr1100 Yeah, even as a Kings fan, I kinda gotta love it. Those guys know each other well, so a little friendly gamesmanship is not a bad thing. Laf has 97 games played and QB has 9. Give it a couple of years and they can really start having fun with it. Kings/Rangers is a longstanding rivalry that's good for the game.
Quick is so gd good, just so impressive all around, nice job by the boys to get it done against him. Laf really needs more top 6 minutes, he's already shown he can produce when he's not babysitting Chytil and Gaulthier. To his credit he's still out there every game throwing his body around and backchecking.
Can't fault Quickie. At least we got a point on this game. On the next game. As long as we get points on this road game we should be alright and be in playoff picture at the moment.
God those helmets are ugly. At least the knights have the decency to wear them at home. Imagine showing up at someone else's rink wearing the most visibly ugly thing imaginable, like it's just rude
Skills competition.... an individual effort to decide a TEAM GAME!!! Yes, I'm a Kings fan, but I've HATED THE SHOOTOUT since 2005!!! TERRIBLE WAY TO DECIDE A GAME!!!
I look at it this way - the game has to end at some point. You can add 5 more minutes of 3 on 3, but guess what? Coaches like TMac (who claims to hate the shootout) have already started using stay at home defensemen in overtime, they'll just do it more. That's, to me, much more terrible than having a shootout. Wasting what used to be the glory of 3 on 3 with constant resets to the neutral zone, and saddling 2 good skaters with a boat anchor, just in case there's a breakaway.
How about penalty shots? Or breakaways? Should those be eliminated as well? Maybe they should take a vote at the end of the game? Or maybe the team with the most pronouns? Or maybe they should both get the win? Tell me you’re a millennial without telling me you’re a millennial.
