Welcome to this video featuring the full cab ride of the metro’s current shortest train line by distance, just ahead of the current K line. Starting on the western terminus, the train doesn’t join the red line until Wilshire/Vermont station two stops down, which is a unique station itself because of the train tracks being on top of each other opposed to side by side for maximum capacity. The B and D subway lines are currently operated by older Breda trains, which were the original trains used for the grand opening of the subway in 1993.
