As I travel around greater California and the the world, I capture some of the transportation systems in other cities, enjoy the collection of various cities around the world! :)
I’ve ridden the surf several times between Camarillo and Burbank Airport when visiting, it’s a great service. I’ve also rode it up to Santa Barbra once
Nice video!! The 2 car trains on the A Line and 3 cars on the E Line seem interesting. There's an LAFC game on Saturday at BMO stadium so there would probably be 2 cars on the A Line and 3 cars on the E Line.
So after the Aviation station you can see the tracks already there for the C line to go North, Have you heard when the K and C lines will be reconfigured?
Yes, the train did peak over 60 mph and traveled around the same speed as some cars, was awesome to fly by traffic. Thanks for the comments and thanks for watching!
The distance between Lakewood and Long Beach stations must be the longest distance between two stations on all of LA Metro. It seems longer than the one on rhe B line through the Hollywood Hills. Thanks.
By my judgment, I don’t think it was a suicide. It looked pre planned to me. Perhaps he noticed that someone was filming and did it to see how the operator would react? I’m also surprised that he didn’t use the high horn
@@TigerRailfan Sorry for the late reply. Yes. 7AM-4PM on the 8th-12th. After that it's night time testing from the 15th all the way until New Year's Eve
The A line is now the most used line on LA Metro surpassing the B subway line for the first time this year. I think the Regional Connector took some riders away from the B line.
The A/E lines definitely did take ridership away, and it makes sense that they would use 3 car trains during the anime expo, must be a busy time for metro! Thanks for watching!
Good video. Seems like the Little Tokyo station remains the most popular on the Regional Connector. It's good to see that neighborhood getting more popular. This station might have ended up saving Little Tokyo. BTW, just saw a short video where LA Metro has a pilot program to help elevators stay cleaner. They will leave the elevator doors in the open position when not being used. That way, the elevator is always being aired out when not in use. Clever idea, simple to implement, and no additional cost.
Yes I would say Little Tokyo is the busiest out of the regional connector stations, 7th/Metro might be similar or slightly busier though because of the subway
