The Chargers have been giving up big runs for the last few seasons which could come back to haunt them in the playoffs. Mack has been relatively quiet outside of a few games so it would be helpful if he could step it up come playoff time.

They played against Mayfield... they were fine

They played against one of the worst teams in the league and they didn’t have Aaron Donald so it was an expected victory. I don’t know how ready they are for the playoffs considering they have been very susceptible to giving up big runs all season and that didn’t change today. Staley’s D haven’t been able to stop the run since he got there. Mack has been relatively quiet outside of a few games so hopefully he will step it up come playoff time. I’m not sure how he made the pro bowl over Nwosu.

I can bet you anything in this world If you were to ask Justin Herbert if he would rather finish a game with zero TD’s maybe even with with a possibly bad timing interception or two but wouldnt need to panic at this individual stat line because he could lean on his touchdown machine running back Ekler and Dicker The Kicker to score points that win the games or try to have a good individual statistical game with lots of passing yards and multiple passing touchdowns to win games. Justin Herbert is the type of player in person that he would sooner give up his opportunities to have good stats during a game. If the better option to win the game was to rely on Ekeler or making the right passes to his weapons available during a two minute drill that puts them in a position for Dicker The Kicker to kick the game winning field goal. For Justin Herbert it’s all about the benefit of the entire team and if that means if he goes a couple weeks and isn’t playing that grade and he finishes a game with zero touchdowns and a couple turnovers, but doesn’t allow those turnovers or lack of touchdowns, determine the outcome of the game , and when it matters most making the right reads for the right throws to move the ball down the field that sets up his running back or his kicker. The guy just wants to do his job help his teammates and overall the team be successful helping himself means nothing to him so he doesn’t need to have a bunch of touchdowns each game and he is more than content going to maybe three weeks without even throwing one passing touchdown, it’s not gonna look good on a stat sheet it’s not gonna look good for fantasy owners. It’s not gonna look good to fans that think individual stats are everything when it comes to winning games. that’s OK just heard it’s fine with that and that mentality is why were in the playoffs
