LA may tear things down, but I will give them credit over San Diego. San Diego tears down historic buildings on a rampage like Putin carpet bombing cities. LA's DTLA hosts a bunch of historic buildings that weren't torn down even as the area is gentrifying, but rather they were restored and repurposed. I was amazed by much of the buildings from the early 20th century that remained in DTLA.
My daughter and I just did a tour of this home a month ago. We spent such a fun day looking at historic LA murder houses. Then went to HFCemetary, and had lunch at The Formosa Cafe. We had a blast.
I hate the term/word, "re-develop". Why do Americans feel the need to destroy history and the beautiful homes that can never be recreated or replaced with a modern monstrosity. Homes today are cold and lack any real craftsmanship.
I currently own a home where the previous owner ended his own life and many strange things go on here every single day. I was friends with the previous owner before the incident so it's possible he's just allowing me to live here in peace. BUT.. I would not live in a home where there was a violent murder because that awful violent energy will be in that home for eternity. This is a beautiful property though and thanks for posting this video.
I’m pretty sure spirits are still living thair after all these years.someone needs to cleanse the house first before anything I don’t know what it looks like on the inside.please save this beautiful mansion.it’s part of l.a.’s history 🙏
Since you are a Realtor in the Los Feliz area, why did you not take us inside to view the property? Thank you, my husband is an architect and he showed me the renderings that is proposed. Gorgeous property, reminds of our house in San Juan Capistrano. Has anyone put a cost estimate to the suggested renovations shown in the renderings?
I think the house should be developed but in a similar style of the original one not one of those modern minimalistic lame, boring houses that pop up all over la.
@@vp-oe1em I would! So what, that was along time ago and this house would make for some great Halloween parties, dinner parties, MURDER MYSTERY parties......I would revel in it's history !
🖤 ~ Seems like the Los Feliz mansion has had lots of residents which have befallen serious illnesses & deaths from the time it was originally built, very sad, as it's quite a unique and standout property. Thank you for the tour, Julia ~ 🪽
In most states they don't have to disclose the haunting or the deaths. In California real estate agent has to disclose the death but only if it happened within the last 3 years. So here they wouldn't have to disclose the deaths, murders, or haunting. But if the buyer asks the agent can't lie or mislead. So always ask a lot of questions.
I can help you if you are a qualified buyer to get inside the building. The listing agent won't let everyone in to see it because it is a construction site. You can e-mail me at juliaapariciomercado@gmail.com . Buyer agent rules are now strict here in CA. As a realtor we are complying prior to the 8/17 compliance deadline. I would need a limited representation agreement for the property or a buyer representation agreement that is broader. Either works for showing properties. If you don't want any sort of representation, you may be able to contact Jon Grauman directly as a self represented buyer. I hope that helps.
If I could wish up the stars or whatever. I would purchase this house and restore to it’s mint condition, and spend my final current days there. Just hoping it’s not haunted.
How very sad that the house and grounds aren't restored to their former beauty. It could be very charming if it were done right. Hopefully someone who can overlook it's history . Someone with a romantic flair and really give it a good jushing. Its upsetting that fanilies dont pass their homes down through the generations anymore. The sense of belonging you get is incomparable.❤ 🙏
Yes you are correct. It’s the ground the property is on that needs to be graded as for how safe the foundation is. I’ve seen pictures of the inside before the last owner gutted the place to remodel. It was beautiful. I’m not sure but after all the years of neglect maybe that contributed. Anyways because of foundation problems that’s why it probably will be demolished. So sad.
I'm sure after the house is completely remodeled it's going to be spectacular. Although beautiful, I can't imagine living in a home that has a history of murder/ suicide and other deaths due to illness. The energy in the house must be extremely weird and creepy. Best of luck to whoever does purchase the property.
My opinion is that the House should be torn down. It is a really nice lot with great potential but who is going to want to live in a House where a murder suicide took place.
Even if someone rebuilds, the house will still be on the same land where a murder-suicide took place. Edit: Even if the "haunted" house is torn down, this doesn't mean that the people living in the new house won't experience paranormal stuff. Ultimately it's the land that's haunted.
Los Feliz Please 😢 It’s not called “LOOS FULL LEASE” it is called or pronounced locally as “LOWS-FEE-LESS” ❤ Thank you Sincerely All the native Angelinos’s ❤️💋
I just checked it on the MLS, and as of 7/30/24 it is still $3,975,000 . The history shows that back in July 2022 the owner tried to sell it for $5,500,000. The listing expired back in January 2023, and now it has hit the market once again. I don't know if it has really hit its real market value yet. It depends on what the new owner wants to do with it. Just remodeling it to fix what is there is different than expanding it and grading the hill.
A cleansing with white sage would certainly help. Also, if spirits still occupy it, then someone needs to tell them they no longer need to stay there, and they are free to go to the light. It could just be a residual haunting where energy is stuck there and replays on a loop.
I’m sorry, but you lose all credibility as a Realtor if you can’t pronounce the name of the neighborhood. Los Feliz is not pronounced in the correct Spanish way. Locals call it Loss Feeliz. Seriously.
Do a little research like everyone else did! If you have time to look at it, you have time to Google it! WTF?!? Help yourself!! And FYI QUIT TALKING IN ALL CAPS!! What are you from the 80s?!?! 😂😂😂
