I can’t believe how rude and unsupportive these mothers and other family members are. I would never talk to my daughters like this. If my daughter said she felt pretty and happy in a dress, I would support her.
The second mom is horrendous! She’s not enough of a responsible adult to pick a dress but she’s enough of one to get married? That was just such a Karen thing to say.
What did she just say? Omg 😡😡 You can’t even seen her legs in the dress!! I think that the first bride could lose some weight and drop a few sizes. The second bride looked fine! Her mum was so mean!!

If I ever have a daughter I will NEVER act like these mothers. I feel sorry for these poor girls, they all looks so beautiful in every dress they had on.
My daughter was a tiny hourglass and hard to fit. The only thing that I told her consultant was NO CAKE TOPPER DRESSES. She wanted to give the impression of some height. She was beautiful in an all lace A-line with a long train. Simple and elegant.
I did have a girl and she was heavy at her wedding, but that was never part of the wedding ❤ it was the best one ever and 13 yrs later, they are still happy and I have 2 grandboys!
As a Mom i always choose my words carefully when speaking to my daughters. ...I have had weight issues my entire life and I know how poorly chosen words can cut to the quick...I work hard to build my girls up and to never tear them down...these people could use some counseling on positive conversations with their daughters....
Kasia looked like a goddess in this dress! I'm Polish myself and I know how conservative people can be there with majority of the country being Catholic. I'm pleased to see that she stood up to them and those outdated opinions.

The thing is mothers like this are generally like this all the time. They are always critical of their daughters . It's an entire life of negativity. It becomes exhausting to deal with a parent like this. They will criticize every area of your life and make a relationship with them very challenging. The daughters have to be willing to talk to and confront the mom if not the misery continues
…. Episodes like this make me wish for updates of the brides, did they stood up to them, cut them out, moved, did the wedding and life after turn out like they wished, have the „Karen“ learned after the show was aired how they are and changed?
This is why I did not include my mother when I made my dress for my first wedding…I knew what I wanted and knew she would be awful. True to form she made sarcastic comments about ever choice we made for the wedding itself.
I picked out my wedding dress and shopped the clearance dresses for a dress in the fall. No one even helped me at the store. No one saw it till my wedding day. Didn't get any criticism of my $80 dress in 1975. It had a train, and I had a veil made. I loved my dress, and that's what mattered.😢
In my opinion if my daughter loves the dress then it's her dress it's not my special day it's hers these mom's need to shut up and let their daughter have their day
They walk out in some hideous dresses and are surprised their group don't like them. Also, since these are edited with a headline agenda, they don't show the segments where their group liked a dress, only the negative.
This is one reason that if I ever got married again which I don't plan on doing and had to get a nice dress I would not take anybody with me no one, nidda, zip, zero, zilch.
Honestly I can never understand the brutality of some of these so called mothers. Do they actually delight in hurting the child they gave birth to!? I just do not get it. If you see a problem there are kinder ways to say things. Oh I tell it like it is is just code for being CRUEL! Stop opening the jaw and think how much damage you will be causing you child! I was extremely fortunate with my daughter when she had her dress designed as we have such similar tastes. (She couldn’t find the perfect one off the rack, so she decided that was the right way for her. At that time sleeves and pockets were not widely available!) if we hadn’t have been so in tune I’d have just been so honoured and pleased we had got to the point in her and my life that we could share such experiences, not just as mother and daughter, but also as friends.
Moms should be supportive. It's the daughters choice. Girls should be raised to think for themselves. The final decision is theirs not mommy's. Otherwise elope. Fewer nonsense from people.
I have 1 daughter and I was my mother's only daughter and I heard a lot after having 2 babies back to back your fat when are you going to loose weight? I have never told my girl to loose weight nor will I ever bc it hurts to hear. Mom's need to be the safe place, the unjudgemental place to go. I'll never make this mistake with my girl.
There are some brides to be. That NEED to pick better support people. And KEEP THE DOWNERS AT HOME!!! I saw one, this girl was looking for her dress. She brought her mom, her sister, and her cousin. And they laughed at her so bad at every dress she tried on. And the girl was bawling in the dressing room. Randy was out raged. He went out told the ones she brought with her. How incredibly rude they were. And how she was bawling her head off. And told them to grow up, and knock it off.... And they all quit laughing, even mom.

I think the bride should pick out the dress not everybody else I could see if they'd say why don't you try some other ones on with it to compare it and then make a decision but not to insult the bride to be.
I don’t think the first was that bad. They didn’t like it. They weren’t mean or harsh which is important. The second mother has ZERO idea on how to speak to her daughter and express her opinion.
