@@vanith2541 The skill level has definitely risen but I feel they were helped by many teams having terrible performances at Antwerp. For example NaVi and other teams with Ukrainian or Russian players weren't in form due to the war. Something else to note with Antwerp was Faze held it together, showing great moments where they'd have great team coordination and beautiful aim, but only being able to deliver once every 4 rounds won't cut it anymore.

Honestly guys, Faze played this like decently, I think broky was kinda out of form but alas this was the set where we got to see Faze actually look like Faze. However, BNE played fucking insanely well, their shots, their aim is super crisp. Aggressive and unpredictable, Wow what a match. Feels really bad for Faze to go out like this, but I honestly think if BNE plays like this going forward, we might see some more crazy upsets. Man, these guys are literal hype trains crashing straight into the major. I honestly have no idea who is gonna win this major and its fucking fantastic, what a year for CS.

FaZe have absolutely no excuse for dropping out of the major before playoffs especially in this fashion. However, I do have an issue with the whole system for getting to the Champions Stage. The matchups are way, WAY more important than the quality of a team. Juat look at the draws, all the top 5 teams playing each other, meanwhile Furia get through by beating Big with a stand-in. I think you should just have less teams qualify to the major and then have everyone play everyone else to see who gets to the Champions Stage by actually being the best team, not by beating lesser teams because of the way the draws work

Yes, teams as Furia or C9 just beated 3 teams to reach the champions stage, but they beated teams that didn't drop any game in the legends stage, the best overcoming the best. And the likelihood of the top 5 teams playing each other is just something related to their performance, the better positioned teams play againts the worst positioned, if Vitality is into the top 5 but they pull off a position into this stage just at the last try, we can await that they will play againts the most powerful teams as NAVI.
