Technically there are 2 blast zones when spiking or suicide bombing outside the stage. The glitch happens rarely

I find it even weirder that during the "bayo stuck to brawler" glitch, Bayonetta (and Lucina) did NOT lose their stocks, but got teleported to the respawning Mii Brawler still with their damage %age.

That one with Squirtle didn't work, because Squirtles damage was to low, lowering the damage it would have gotten without withdraw. Withdraw only lowers damage to almost zero and knockback by an unknown value

In the ruleset, you can make SD lose 2 stocks, 1 stock or 0 stocks. I've never seen a move that triggers either or counting on height, that is most likely a glitch.

I know that this is off topic, but what is the purpose of the move suplex? Is it the most damaging one or is it just used to interrupt the enemy, since it doesn't kill.

Suplex is a command grab, which means it can't be shielded. It also has moderate range and some armor. Also, you can suicide KO with it for a free stock. It's just a good mix up move really.

Seriously one of the best smash channels I am subbed to. Instead of just uploading clips or clips with some commentary there is testing going on. Also tips and trick videos. I still love the yeetsmash stuff but this channel is probably my favorite.

Bailey Carroll I don’t remember seeing an option of removing two stocks instead of one. Maybe I was looking in the wrong places to see it but I never noticed that there was an option to enable something like that.

I encountered a glitch where a cpu King K. Rool lost two stocks at once, then lost all and was still active in the game( Final Smashes were still working) and when another cpu died the game ended despite two players still on screen. This was in ffa custom smash, so it was extra weird P.S. K. Rool only died twice, it was three stock

It happens 100 percent of the time on 2v2 team battle quick play. if you SD, (even an intentional suicide kill) it takes 2 stocks. no clue why. it's super game breaking.

@Dumb Stuff To stop unsportsman like stuff ingame or something. It was in a direct before the game came out or just after it came out displaying the features of online. If you sd too much you get banned for 30 mins.

The 2 stock issue is definitely SDing. From what i understand, if you dont deal damage to an opponent BEFORE you kill yourself, you lose 2 stocks.

I think Mii Brawler loses 2 stocks off suiciding because that suicide in particular seems to drop faster than the others. It's subtle but stages have 2 kill boxes. the normal ones, and ones that are slightly smaller that kill suicides before confirming the kill. This move doesn't seem to allow that recovering peiriod thus meaning that the characters are in the basic kill box. As Mii Brawler is suiciding In the suicide kill box AND the regular kill box, it triggers both, claiming 2 stocks. I bet the Post-Mordem holding glitch is similar to this. To trigger, Mii Brawler must let go on or around the kill frame. Now the target character is in a state where they can't be dead (having just been let go of) but is in the kill box (so they must be dead) confused, the game just leaves them in the "held" position until new data can be collected.

Just an FYI, Invy calls the Wii Fit Trainer trick "Ball Passing" you should check his channel. From what I understand it's a bit situational. Wii fit trainer in general can pull out some crazy stuff once you understand side B/ball cancelling and which hit does what trajectory.

Doesn't look like that's the explanation because the player loses 2 stocks at once with that rule but in the clips they lose one and then another one shortly after. Furthermore, they don't always lose 2 stocks although they should if "SD" was the explanation.

I think I got it I think I figured it out this game is extremely against Suicide moves you always die first if you try to like, for example, "ganoncide" for the final stock, so ganondorf will always die first they specifically programmed the move to do that so because at like the last possible second, Bayonetta broke free of the backdrop AT the moment Mii Brawler was programmed to die, so he lost one stock but then afterwards he fell to his death and died a second time

I'm a Shulk main. When I switched once to Buster art, Smash activated. I was like: Ok, happens sometimes. Then, after i hit him off thge stage, I activated Smash art and Buster was used. Dunno what that was, but saved the replay.

You guys didn't test the interaction at 5:11 -- 5:45 properly; in the clip, squirtle started up side-b at a much closer timing to when ganondorf landed up-smash -- Squirtle went much farther in the clip than you guys were able to replicate (excuse me, I mean no hate, only to point out a thing or two you guys could have done better! You guys are amazing!)

I once had something fairly similar. I killed an someone in stamina mode with Incineroar side-b and they lost 2 stocks. They had no stocks left but still respawned. It was a free for all and after everyone but him (The CPU without stocks) died too the match just ended.

Losing two stocks has been around since like Melee. If you SD without taking damage you lose two lives, it's always been like that for timed matches, maybe they just carried it over stock, but I don't think so.

On the snake cypher bug, you guya were testing it off the edge of the stage; the cypher would need some hang time to "activate" the animation of Snake in the animation of hovering upward, but he grabs the edge first before his ascent. You have to test the cypher bug completely off stage, or on a higher platform from the stage like the top of the Warioware stage. Didn't test it out myself, but i will

You wanna know how dedede loves to kill himself using side-b? Ok, heres why? You know that gordows can be reflected using regular attacks too, right? And when Dedede used side-b he first throws them in front of them and hitting them away with a hammer swing. But when you reflect the gordow before Dedede hits it with his hammer the reflector can reflect the gordow anouthed but now it's much stronger because it has already been reflected three times with a reflecter, dededes hammer and again using the same reflector and since dededed is in hitlag because... well he used side-b the gordow has more than anouth time to hit dedede and he can't do anything because his hammer attack after he trows the gordow in front of him is already gone. => Gordow, which has been reflected 3 times, hits dedede

I think losing 2 stocks has to do with the opponent being able to escape the command grab. By this I mean it's the same mechanic as when a person can mash out of ridley's, bowser's, and ganon's side-b, but it's clear that those other 3 suicide-b's have different interactions when they reach the bottom blast zone

I think I encountered that 2 Stock Removal glitch myself. I remember me and my nephew played a team battle against a spammy team and we got the upper hand. They didn’t like that we have the upper hand so they ragequit on us and in the middle of them ragequitting both of them lost one stock the first time and then two stocks the second time in a three stock match. I still to this day trying to find out how that happened. So I don’t think you’re the only ones encountered that.

I think that the reason you lose two stocks is that you respawn next to bayoneta (like when you respawned and bayoneta survive but was bugged with the character but inverse it, you get bugged with bayoneta not bayoneta with you... right, so you respawn in the zone you died and after that, the bug is fixed).

Losing 2 stocks is a punishment of SDing. You won't lose 2 stocks if you are hit by another player, or stay alive for a good amount of time before

The game has a wierd way of finding out of og you SDed because if you dont her hit and die below or on the level the stage is IT counts as an SD but if you her hit and wait a long time it still counts as a kill for the opponent that hit you regardless of time and stock. Its very wierd but i bet if you guys look dreper into SD's in a future video you will figure it out way netter than me, but this is just my look at the subject. Can someone help me? I'm searching a main for Smash Ultimate. I play Zelda as a secondary, but don't want to main her. I mained Mario in smash 4 and played Lucario as a secondary. To give some more information, I'll do a list, with things and how important they are for me personally. 10 is essential and 1 is I don't care. Mobility: 8/10(not speed only, also movement options) Combo:4/10 Neutral: 8/10 Punishgame:7/10 Edgeguarding/ ledgetrapping 7/10 Kill power: 5/10 Pressuring: 3/10 Spacing: 6/10 (how well you can outspace your opponents) Recovery: 5/10 Juggling:6/10 Mix-ups: 7/10 (different options to attack or be defensive) Damage output: 6/10 Frame Data: 5/10 If you have any suggestions, then you can answer me. I would really appreciate, if someone helps me☺️

You only lose 2 stocks online and in a doubles match, if your offline a doubles match stocks remain which means it's a glitch

I think you loose 2 Stocks because the command grab is still active. When you did it high enough bayo got out an it didn't count as an active suicude, so only 1 Stock was lost. I can't think of another explanation. For the glitch I don't have any ideas. Excuse my grammar and stuff I am german.

There's a rule setting in which self-destructs will take two stocks instead of one. If that's turned on, it would explain the issue since the Mii is technically SD-ing

It might be a glitch within the code for game rules. I’m pretty sure there was a rule option in Melee that SD’s costs 2 stocks. I don’t have ult but it might be in the game as well.

You lose 2 stocks because if you die without taking damage it will be like suicide/being salty. Sometimes you’ll get disqualified for doing it online

On team Battles online this would sometimes happen to me a lot. It only seemed to happen if you sd at 0% or sd the stock before

You gotta think programming. For losing 2 stocks, you must have hit the dead zone but then you get hit up by him escaping and you hit it again

I think the two stokes thing has to do with the fact that you died with Bayo holded... Maybe the game take that animation as if is that hold counts just as the mii brawler so when bayo dies takes one stoke form Mii brawler and then he dies... Whenever mii brawler releases bayo before getting to the blastzone he just looses one stoke

You probably lose to because of SD and if it is high enough you don't die from the attack/you can recover you lose one because the game don't count it as sd

yo lose 2 stocks if you still have your opponent in grab when you hit the death plane. you lost 2 stocks when you went low because your opponent didn't mash out and was still in the suplex animation when the hit the death plane

Test if you lose 2 stocks when you actually kill some one with a move that can suicide. So like you have to use it low so that they don't brake free from it. I believe if they don't leave the suicide then you lose 2 stocks

Maybe because of the sd penalty which takes 2 stocks away from you at times instead of 1, strange.

you lose two stocks if you do a SD/KO at a height that makes it impossible for the opponent to escape its part of the game to deter people from doing that.

The issue is that the Mii Brawler bug appears to work *exclusively* with Lucina and Bayonetta. If this theorum was correct, it would work regardless of character choice.

It's because on dededes Gordo attack his hammer has a hitbox in the beginning and anything with a hitbox knocks the Gordo back

I have a guess on my you sometimes lose 2 stocks. In the glitch Bayo doesn't lose a stock because the two fuse AFTER Mii brawler is back on stage. If the two fuse before then, you can sometimes lose two (you both die once, adding up to twice each) or, if the fusion isn't finished, it gives the Mii a life lost from Bayo, but Bayo doesn't get an additional one because they aren't fully fused

Maybe the glitches are related. Brawler dies first and gets bonded to the target character for a frame, dying again with the victim.

you only lose one on occasion because bayonetta broke out of the move before she died so it counts as her making knockback on you no longer counting as a SD
