That’s why I angle my board down in my boat and with these big ones I have my net at the end of the board. We all learn the hard way. Also now that it’s so hot outside, dip your board in the water for a few seconds before you put them on it. Sometimes they’re feeling the burn like we do when walking on hot sand.

We have to take a photo of the fish on the board to submit it for a kayak tournament. Was getting it ready for the photo.

The kayak tournament that I am participating in is catch, photo & release. A picture is needed of the fish on the ruler to be able to submit the catch.
