Just a few things that I didn't mention in the video! 1. It's extremely hard to run double class engraving on a new class release. You can play swiftness Summoner without the Senior Summoner engraving if you want, or wait until ancient accessories when it gets easier. Itemization for swiftness Summoner can be very difficult. One suggestion is to equip Senior Summoner as a +6 (blue books) and then run 4 engravings at level 3 if you want to play it a bit more budget, since this removes the need for an entire class accessory. 2. You can run Hit Master as swiftness Summoner, but it's not recommended. Cursed Doll loses 0.79% efficacy when considering Adrenaline vs. Hit Master, but Hit Master loses 15.21% damage on Kelsion, her most powerful burst damage cycle summon, which she can cast multiple times in a fight thanks to her high swiftness. 3. I found that the Charm set was pretty competitive vs. Hallucination up until around level 4-5 tripods AND level 7+ gems. It's a good choice for a pretty long time. If you are going budget and dropping Senior Summoner for the time being, the Charm set could last even a little longer. Specialization Summoner should just go another set in general (i.e. Hallucination), since the main advantage of pets constantly triggering the Charm set is somewhat lost on her in comparison. 4. Regarding Ancient Spear, it takes some time to get used to, but the exact position of your mouse when you confirm where you're casting it is the center of the first spear, and the very end of the rectangular telegraph is the center of the final spear. This should roughly help you get an idea of where you should place the spear on smaller targets, as it means the 'center' point of the skill is actually closer towards the end of the targeting. STUFF I FORGOT TO COVER 1. Her auto-attack is pretty good! I forgot to add a section on this since it was a one-shot recording. However, it has the same property as Bard where it will auto-lock on, onto a nearby enemy target. This actually can create a problem where if you want to auto something that isn't an enemy (such as an imprisoned ally that needs hit count to be released) your auto-attack may drift off-course. 2. Her two Awakenings, you don't really get to choose which one you use. If you play swiftness build, you use Kelsion, a really powerful summon that's amplified further by her class engraving. His attacks also give you a little bit of identity meter. For specialization, you'll use Bagron (a.k.a. dune), which deals good instantaneous damage and with sufficient specialization will instantly fill up the identity meter enough to use Akir from an empty gauge (this is part of a notable 'triple Akir' skill rotation).
Thanks for the guide Saint. Been hyped for this class since LA’s release. I have enough mats stockpiled for her to easily get her to 1490 on day one. Not to mention I held onto the Punika pass and the express.

I don't know about that. Summoner has a very...unique aesthetic. For a decent number of people it won't be worth playing for that reason alone. I can see some people that might benefit from her though, the question is whether or not they will play her.
gonna wait for a bits, just like the hype for glavier and now everyone hate pinnacle and her legendary engraving are so cheap. people tend to hype up every class when they saw it was so OP at KR server, but one thing is different are the players base, KR player are different from NA, now just need to wait for the time to tell how is going for NA player XD.
@@doritosicecream2820 While its great if its the case for pricing it will suck if the population is too low fort he class. You'll be hard-pressed finding the class accessory which makes me wonder how the nearly non existent(?) sharpshooter players find their stuff

reminds me of when i first started playing lost ark and i looked up a sorc guide to see if i wanted to play it. Your video then was incredibly helpful and i look forward to using this one to help me get a handle on summoner as well.
Not sure if you mentionned it but you can actualy CLICK on the identity to switch to a different identity spell if you are a fast clicker vs using the X or what ever key you binded

really hyped to play summoner as mage enjoyer. really wanted to play the swift version to mess around with the summons but sucks it needs 2 class engravings! hopefully can get something working.
I think you can go for cheaper option of going for Adrenalin 2 and getting the other class engraving on level 1. Not saying it's gonna be cheap, but adrenaline often cost a lot anyway. So if you gonna build 5x3 you can instead do 4x3+2+1 as some other build do anyway.
Besides for the option of just equipping the other engraving as +6, you could technically get away with playing 1 engraving swiftness. Some people in KR do it, but personally I think the loss is too great, especially when you consider how strong the Senior Summoner engraving is even at level 1.
@@Saintone thanks for the suggestion. I'll give that a try, it might be fine to run for now and give me a chance to see if I enjoy it without breaking the bank. I want to try out the charm set too just for something different from my other classes (till she gets into late game). I wasn't hyped at all for summoner but after seeing your vid and reading more about her I'm thinking she could be a main if I enjoy the playstyle!
I have been waiting for Summoner since LA started in NA/EU. She will become my main, even if she sucks (she does not). I was waiting for scouter/summoner and i really had to wait.

It's a shame this class took so long to come out. Played her in the NA Beta, and she was gonna be my main, but then she was removed for launch. My friends and I have long since dropped the game for one reason or another. I doubt this will bring me back, too many other games on my radar atm...but...maybe....

Since ignite sorc has low mobility as well. Would you say Summoner is harder or Sorc is harder to survive and deal damage in raid (as if both spec build)?
Well igniter to do her full potential damage needs to land full combo and double doomsday. Summoner let's say instead can hit "doomsdays" every cycle. So if you miss one alikir it's not that bad as missing your ignition
Igniter Sorceress is only heavily animation locked once every 30 seconds. Outside of that, she has a lot of free reign to just poke at the boss and dodge. On the other hand, Specialization Summoner is animation locked constantly throughout the entire course of the fight. Where summoner has an advantage is the push immunity on her identity skills helping her stay on her feet.

I see a lot of people saying spec Summoner should run 1650 specialization at the very least. I am wondering: is there a specific reason as to why this is the specific breakpoint people refer to?
min cap for relic accessories all being 100 quality + the 10% pet. Neck 500 (other 500 is other sub stat) / Earring 300 (x2) / Ring 200 (x2) = 1500 * 10% pet (0.1) = 1650 If people are a couple higher, then that is due to horizontal content stuff, but this is current highest minimum cap.
Question for the swiftness build: What would be the 5x3 setup when 5x3 with 1x1 Master Summoner is still far away. Would you aim for 4x3 with Adre x2 and Master Summoner x1 or drop Master Summoner entirely? I'm maining Swift summoner but can't seem to figure out in what progression order I want my engravings to be. I'm currently 4x3 (Communication Overflow - Grudge - Adrenaline - Raid Captain)
It depends. If you're still using the Charm set, you should drop Master Summoner altogether (as less than 30% of your damage will come from normal and ancient spirit skills). If you're already on Hallucination, then consider Adrenaline 2 + Master Summoner 1 if you want to go min-max, or just wait until ancient accessories to pick up Master Summoner 1. Either way, it's gonna be very expensive.

Some time ago I remember seeing a clip where Saint said that the only people who play summoner are Korean grandmothers. I can't seem to find that clip any more.
So I main reflux sorc. I want to play sorc and summoner but not the same build. Should I be switching my sorc to igniter and then play swiftness summoner? Or leave my sorc as reflux and play spec summoner?

You can do that if you want, but keep in mind that your Keen Blunt Weapon efficacy will be under 16% without it since you don't have level 3 set or bracelet just yet. So it's ultimately a choice between KBW or Adrenaline for level 3.
The communication overflow build is for using actively pets such as the bear and the dog and is a swiftness build (this is the consistant dmg build) Master summoner is the one for SPEC and uses mainly the Z key to do your dmg from the (akkir) this is the Bursty ish build
He means the gems, swiftness summoner use 8 damage gems, imagine the price of 8 lvl 10 damage gems in good skills... Spec summoner accs cost more but use less damage gems.
Sure, but the cost of accessories is irrelevant in the face of level 10 gems, which is a future that a lot if not all of you will eventually cross paths with. Gems are the most expensive part of gearing at that stage, bar nothing.
It's playable sure, but you will only see the full extent of the swiftness build with maxed out Overflowing Sympathy. This reduces the downtime of your summons to the max so you don't feel like there are too many periods without all of your summons.
You mentioned something very interesting regarding alimarge where it deals bonus damage when the enemy is staggered. What's the approximate damage difference between Alimarge and Akir against a staggered foe? And would it be potentially possible to spam Alimarge fast enough to outdamage Akir during staggered foes in the same amount of time?
I think Alimaji beats akir in damage on a staggered foe since it’s cost is half of akir’s. However I’ll need to test it out when she’s live in our version.
This is a good question. Ultimately, I think Akir still deals more damage, however, I found that during many DPS windows of a staggered enemy, that I couldn't fit two Akir in without the boss leaving or phasing, so it ultimately made more sense to just use Alimarge with Akir sometimes. The damage loss didn't feel significant for doing double or triple Alimarge though.
I used to play OSRS and always had content to do. WTF do I do on lost ark when the daily and weekly grind is over? I'm a new player i'[m sorry if this sounds odd but I have a difficult time seeing why people still play. Community? Well for a new player that aint a thing it's more like bot ark. raiding content? okok I got up there and there's no match making it's just bussing in find party.. okok I went to do pvp that was alright but there was no reward alrighty... next I went to do life skills it was neat I loved that amount of different things i could catch, cook or what ever there didn't seem to be much. Is LA a mobile game or an actual MMORPG? As a new player i been confused but also i been only logging on to get daily gifts because i like cosmetics and I hope one day LA wont be so bad
but yeah if anyone has any ideas. I play Una for like 3 minutes a day I'm willing to listen but if it's just that ^ what i mentioned above im out mmorpgs are not for me anymore
@@princevegeta8126 If you make alts, you get more play time. If you only play 1 character there won't be much to do per week. A lot of people raid on 3-6 characters. No one MMs raids except maybe 1370 or below content, but IME that's usually filled with cheapos that cant get in party finder groups and/or nubs that dont know the fight. You either make friends to form a static, gear your chars properly to beat the party finder miniboss, make your own parties or join one with similar gear ilvl. Cant expect to join the 1500+ juiced parties if you're at 1460 or w/e. There is rewards for pvp? Theres a button to check your rank and gives tokens each week based on your rank which you buy mats from the pvp vendor. Personally, I enjoy the raids. I pug everything x6. Make a support and you'll have a way easier time joining raid parties. But imo as a new player your gonna have to put in time, your credit card or a bit of both, like everyone else did, although the devs have since made part of the honing process easier/faster/cheaper.
Every class will get it's counterpart eventually,you just need to live long enough to witness it. Next one will be female berserker,since there is no female warrior class yet.
