Always watched this show in the 70’s when we were off from school, Snow Day!!

That sweet little voice of Jessica on the phone is precious. My kids loved Hatchy Milatchy.

This is such a charming program. I would not be born for another 9 years after this program aired - I feel so much connection whenever I see TV programs from the era around my birth (a decade before into my childhood) ♡

Was the Hatchy Milatchy studio separate from the main WNEP building? I remember my kindergarten class making a field trip to the studio, which, from what I remember, seemed to be an airplane hanger at the Avoca Airport.

where did the title of the show come from?

Isn't the doll from the first scene (sitting in the chair) the cursed doll which is in a glass cabinet?

Didn't this show normally air when kids were in school? Why would a kids show air when kids would be in school in the morning? Or, was this meant for preschool kids? And today's kids will never know this show because most of the episodes are lost because they weren't taped. My cable company in Allentown, PA got WNEP in the 1980's and I remember watching this show in the early 80's sometimes. Miss Judy (Lois) was a nice lady. Her hair was done nice and she had pretty dresses. She's still alive? And why does copyright make it impossible to include content in shows like cartoons, or music? Would rights never be able to be secured, or would the copyright holders want too much money?
