Guy's wife Janice Cooper was not Italian . Only guy was , he was born in New York to immigrant parents from Sicily , HIs real name was Armando Joseph Catalano . Guy Williams had two children with Janice , a boy named Steve and a girl named Toni. So they were not really and Italian family per say .
This is priceless. Guy Williams was my hero growing up. I loved watching LIS...He was certainly blessed to have a lovely wife...His daughter is so well spoken, and may I add stunningly beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
So, so sad he left his beautiful faithful loving wife and children who were devastated only to move to Argentina so he could relive the best role of his career. Sad ending at 67 dying of a brain aneurysm with 2 people at his burial. How selfish. It is heartbreaking g
He was my hero when I was very young as Zorro. Then when he was cast in LIS I watched every episode just to see him. Hollywood really did him wrong. I don't blame him for leaving the country.
Guy Williams was my favorite leading man. I liked his character in Lost in Space. He was tough and fearless, but caring and loving at the same time. I don't think John Robinson ever lost a fight!
I could not believe that Guy Willams the father in Lost in Space accepted that role . The part and indeed the series itself was way beneath this amazingly handsome and talented actor . The Industry wasted this talent . The high light of his career was Zorro he was brilliant in the part . No body before him or since him has ever played the character of Zorro better .......... Not even Tyrone Power !
Love lost in space ever since I was little I couldn’t wait for the continuation and now even after 35 plus years I still get that warm feeling . I just love them they will always be a part of my childhood and I’m so so sad out of the 7 two past away 😭 they’ll forever be in my heart 💓🥰 I’m so grateful I got to grow up with them!
When Zorro show was canceled, Mr Guy became a so serious person, when he went to South America he finally connected with his real personality and he was fresh, spontaneous, smiling and full of joy as Don Diego de La Vega.
That's what I was saying. This vid features Guy's wife and daughter; if you look up some of the documentaries on the Zorro tv series that Guy starred in, his son Guy Jr is in them
Maybe I'm wrong but I always thought Guy Williams was a strange story. Would make a great movie or a great book about an Italian American guy who played the best ever Zorro for two years on television and then, after acting roles dried up, left his family behind for long periods of time to live full time in Argentina to capitalize on new found fame in a Spanish speaking country that recently discovered his old Zorro TV shows. He lives there, learns Spanish, and does Zorro live shows. Appears on Argentina TV shows playing up his fencing ability. But is it for money or is it for his ego? And what about his family? Did he send money home? His wife finally divorces him and he continues to live in Argentina until his death. Then for two years, his ashes are in Argentina until somebody (a family member?) comes and spreads his ashes over the Pacific Ocean. .I am always puzzled at this story. A lot of questions never addressed. Would love to know a lot more. Think it might make a good movie or a great book.
I’m reading the book now. Based on your comment, the book may not answer all your questions, but it goes into more detail about him than anything I’’ve ever seen online. The author interviewed his family and friends and was very picky about confirming events and stories with other people in his life or newspaper articles. Anything that she could use to prove an event happened.
Is anyone else blown away by how much Janice Williams resembles Michelle Williams from Dawsons Creek??? I can’t believe they are not related! The resemblance is uncanny
Ģuy Williams would have been surprised by lost in space TV show was still a hit show over the years and that a new lost in space TV show was a big hit to
