@@LowIntSpecimen Small cameos and references like Zhao and Kashiwagi appearing, and locations Bar Tender and Yagami's office being visible in present Kamuro are good for me. Zhao appearing directly definitely shut up people who think the games aren't in the same canon lol
I love how all the amons have their "I am the strongest warrior to grace the earth, I shall destroy you" Monolouges and stuff, and while most of them swear revenge a thousand times after their defeat, Shin both here and in 7 is remarkably chill for an Amon. Dude's having a late lunch, offering to buy yagami a drink, slightly unprepared but as prepared as all amons should be.
Ichiban: Alright, you stand there and wait until we take turns one by one Juzo: No Ichiban: What do you mean no? Juzo: *teleports behind Ichiban* Now fall
It’s one of the dlc extracts from the first game. Most of his moves after his health got into blue health bar are those op dlc extracts from the first game.
Father- So Amon Most Popular Son-Jo Amon Other three sons or apprentices- Kazuya Amon, Jiro Amon and Sango Amon Sister-Noa Amon The Twins-Shin Amon and Juzo Amon
@@godofsin4604 in Y6 Jo Amon joined the Kiryu Clan not because of friendship, but because he realized the only way to become strong enough to defeat Kiryu was to train with/near Kiryu
Kinda disappointed that it's not a fierecest warrior. On the other hand, I really want Shin and Yagami's relationship to be like Kiryu and Jo's, but with much more friendly interaction.
@@masteroflight7296 Well, I thought "The Last Assassin XIV Symphony of the Judgment" will be a recurring leitmotif for the Amon fights in Judgment games.
@@mahiru20ten Each Amon has their own theme leitmotif. Jo Amon's is Fiercest Warrior. Shin's is The Last Assassin, and Juzo's would be whatever this track is called whenever we figure out the name listing that belongs to it. I think Shin uses a version of fiercest warrior in Y7 only because it's a main game.
In Lost Judgment, Shin goes to another level))) i mean, i started to like him even more than before! Just think, he's the youngest in the family of his brothers. And what is more important, Juzo attacked him with attack that possibly kills anyone. I think everyone noticed that Shin got blood on the ground. Even Yagami thought he died, but Shin got up, like nothing happens. I dunno what kind of training regime they have at Amon clan, but i know that probably the worst one. Considering it's the clan of assassins. But Shin is different, he's so chill, reasonable, polite, calm, he's seems also so joyful if you know him well, interested in new technologies, easy to talk to, and he's a bit more like a normal person. Juzo, in my opinion, is like Jo Amon, but more cold, and more deadly. In funny way, he used our Judgment DLC extractor skills for beating us. It's annoying, but funny way of fighting. I do hope Shin Amon won't die in Judgment, or Yakuza series. Let's all agree, that Shin Amon is actually more favorite, than other Amons. He's close with Kiryu, He was reasonible and straight with Kasuga, he's also was humorous and friendly when he saw Yagami beat the shit out of his brother Juzo. I do hope we will see Shin Amon in many RGG games.
@@Minecraftlover73 it looks like Shin doesn't fits to Amon clan, but for being an Amon still gets his part. At least doesn't take so seriously the fights and looses as Jo
The Amon fights are pretty much all unfair B.S but this Amon fight was the most 'Amon' fight yet. I just had to spam Warriors Onslaught and hope he didn't recover enough to nail me with that ground explosion too many times before it wore off. That said, I love Shin Amon. I liked that he is clearly the black sheep of the family (should that be 'white sheep', given their dress code?) He is a goof who spends his time between fights sitting in the Millenium Tower stuffing his face with junk food and is happy to see his older brother get beat up for picking on him.
I can already imagine Yakuza 15 or Judgment 7, where we'll play as new protagonists (like Haruto) who will face off against a new generation of Amons aka the sons of Juzo and Shin... and they will have the same faces again as their fathers, and grandfathers, and great-grandfathers :P. And by then, they'll be summing actual meteors.
That's for trying to nab Yagami's cell last time to get an unfair advantage. Even Juzo feels like his moveset fits in Yagami's playbook except he uses a lot of extracts
@@roshaanreddy8107the Amons.tend to use suped up versions of the main characters movesets if you look at the previous movesets for the original Amon he uses kiryys attacks
@@assassingamer5983 Yep, not the strongest but his fighting style is extremely cool. Reminds me of Jackie Chan in a way with all his acrobatic moves and some of the stuff he does in cinematic sequences lol
Kiryu would singlehandedly destroy the Amon family one by one. Because he was blessed with eternal youth and immortality. Bring on an army of Amons and Kiryu would wipe them out. He is a one man army with the strength of over 9000 men.
I had issues beating this guy when I was trying to actually beat him. The moment i stopped trying to beat him because I wanted to practice juggle combos on him that's when i unironically beat him. I wasn't even paying attention to his health bar since I was focused on observing his attack patterns so I can dodge then start the combo juggling sequence on him
I guess this was RGG's way of telling us that Shin will remain Ichiban's rival only, while Juzo will be Yagami's (or Kaito's, if the rumors of them continuing Judgment with him instead are true... after all, we all know about the issues with Takuya Kimura's agency). It's kinda funny though how weak he was compared to Juzo. Then again, Ichiban is probably also WAY weaker than Yagami (Ichiban needs his party, after all), so it fits. Also, I now can't wait to fight Shin in Yakuza 8. Imagine if he uses Yagami as a summon, lol (obviously wil never happen, but one can dream).
I really can't see the Judgment series working with Kaito. Judgment hinges a lot on Yagami's lawyer background and is categorized as a legal drama. Kaito doesn't fit that concept. Unless they make a spinoff of it and make it more centered around Kaito as an Ex Yakuza turned more-competent-than-you- think PI, like a hyper expansion of the Kaito Files or something.
I cheesed this fight real quick with those energyball extracts. With 2-3 of those you can end him real easy just most when he does the beams and sends the robots that explode towards you and it’ll be over real quick.
@@assassingamer5983 i admit, i spent 30 minutes on that fight, and i had to put pressure on him the entire time to win, but there is a strategy and all, it's not just mindlessly hitting square. My hands were destroyed in the end.
Amons are there in the game because they're the ultimate test of skill. Not meant to he cheesed due to having certain qualifications to even fight them in the first place in every game they've been in. I'd wager that what you did is fair but also robbed you of a really fun fight.
So if I was right, Juzo Amon has the appearance of Jiro Amon in Kiwami 2 along with Jo Amon's voice ? This Amon looks so fun to fight, he doesn't have a shield when he is running low on health like Shin Amon. P/S: Kinda disappointed that his theme is so bad. I wish I can hear a remix of Fiercest Warrior or The Last Assassin. Hope we can fight him in the future with better theme
So Jo Amon and others can fail countless times, but Shinguards gets defeated once by Yagami and is booted from the clan? Sounds like favouritism to me.
aw man, is this their way of showing that Juzo will be Yagami's rival moving forward? or is Yagami going to fight different Amon brothers? aw maaan, thought it would be Shin :( was hoping for Shin to be Yagami's and Ichiban's forever Amon Rival
You know, now that I think about it, Shin and Noa are the only two of the Amon clan to leave their opponent gracefully as sorta friends, with Yagami and Haruka respectively.
So Shin Amon only had 2 games, Judgment and Yakuza 7. Is Shin already being replaced after only 2 fights? Jo Amon had 7 fights before he was replaced with Shin. Unless Shin will still be on the mainline numbered Yakuza games while Juzo will be for Judgment.
Amon: I defeated a polar bear by bare hands! Kiryu who fought 2 tigers while wounded in stomach and Saejima who fought a yama oroshi in an extreme cold with no coat: That's something to be proud of?
It would be more impressive if shin defeated like 3 honey badgers cuz jizo has the energy of a man who created the honey badgers, that level of uncaring
As tall of an order as it is...this has to be the most nearly broken Amon fight in the entire Yakuza-verse (plus Fist of the North Star). His moves can stun lock you to oblivion AND he fucking heals? Jesus suffering fuck, what sadistic bastard designed this?
I had my struggles with him but then i just exploited. Dont know how this extract called in the english version. But i just spammed energy balls on him by using energyball extract.he was down in 2 minutes
Ok so with all that broken ablities, is Juzo stronger than Jo Amon? I feel like this Amon guy has too much moments to exploit while in combos, if we use quadruple-style Kiryu i think this guy is much easier than using Yagami. For example, the rapid punch combos is useless against tiger drop or twist counter, as we can see one of Jo Amon's disciples fight Akiyama with that same style, or when he's about to fire stomp the ground we can easily switch to Rush Style and evade effortlessly. Also when he backsteped there are a whole 1 second to Bear Hug. Well to name a few, there are so much ways to counter when controlling Kiryu, but crap me this is Yagami's game and the boss must be perfectly against the protagonist.
Dodge a ton, because I-frames, the roll at the third dodge of tiger has the most. Use quickstep attacks, go in with a ton of healing, and set a couple hours aside
A couple of his attacks are definitely attacks from the Yakuza series. To me he looks like a combo of a lot of the more universally agreed bullshit attacks enemies have had throughout the games.
@@jokey365 a mix of the bullshit attacks you mentioned, and he shares a ton with the moveset in the boxing minigame, especially the Todoroki rush (fifty punches in 3 seconds) I think he uses mostly the upcoming boxing moveset for Yagami
My buddy beat him by tiger dropping his lightning attack and that's it dodged every other attack he only tifer dropped the lighting attack tiger drop is the dragon fist btw
