So In case anyone is wondering why the views to like ratio is messed up, apparently RU-vid bugged out and the views froze. So as of writing this the video actually has 100K views (on my end). I normally don't comment on these things, but I think its funny that people ACTUALLY have a reason to go "Why does this video have so few views" now lol. Thanks regardless.
I thought the thumbnail was real, but to be fair. When I hear custom music using Mario 64 instruments, I start to see through it. But it was all worth it.
@@AdahnFlorenceand after that you have to plug the red wire into the socket to make sure the engine boots at launch. Wrap the green wire around it's coil that sits directly beside the A button. After you put the back shell on, place the battery in the slot. Screw the Vr26 Jeeper back up and press the reset button. If everything worked according to plan you're device should show a thumbs up sprite. Plug the HDMI port into a monitor and wait three seconds. If it boots up on TV your in the good side. If it doesn't boot in less then 5 seconds quickly unplug. This can severely damage your TV and possibly start a fire
@@asrield2032I don't think the point of the video was to trick people into thinking it was real. Everything before that is a shot by shot remake of a mcdonalds ad for the 2023 mario movie
@@foursidekm Why are you replying to me instead of Jotayo? Anyway, in my reply I wasn't agreeing on thinking it was real, I just thought that part was straight up unfunny and ruined it.
"Boy, this is worse than the time I played Super Mario for a Burger King commercial!" and then this is a flashback. Ah yes, definitely one of the best Mario commercials of all-time. Up there with the ones where Mario falls down the stairs and Luigi turns into a toilet. You can definitely feel his pain in this one. Better writing than most commercials these days in my opinion. It's a commercial so beautiful that it inspired Miyamoto to create Super Mario Sunshine.
@@pinokio9951 ACTUALLY it was a joke he was being inofensively sarcastic as if to suggest he had seen this commercial a lot as a kid and that he loves and misses it, and now he is seeing it again for the first time in so long and being filled with childhood memories. MAGA
@@R560BC the point is most videos that do this kind of fake-old style try to do it in a scary horror/arg-esque way, whereas this video didn't which is nice
I like how it's never shown what actually attacked Mario and sent him into Peter-mode. Also, unironically the way you animate and light models like this is gorgeous eye-candy. If you made a game inspired by that 90s pre-rendered aesthetic, I'd buy it.
I was expecting one of those every copy of super mario 64 is personalized video but turned out of those amazing lost mario 64 burger King animation, Great job 👍
I feel like the really fluid animation makes it obvious because no way would they have animations as smooth as that just for a marketing campaign in the past 😂
This was my favorite commercial growing up. I remember recording it on the sole EP VHS tape we had in the house and playing it over and over until the machine ate the tape. I've finally found it after all this time. 😍
You did an amazing job at recreating the commercial dude ! It's almost like if it was official ! All camera movement are the same, same for the characters ! 100% well made recreation of the original ! Great job man !
Fun fact: The bit of Mario falling on the ground is actually the inspiration to the one in the upcoming Mario movie, but little to no people know about it
If this isn’t real it’s hands down the best animation I’ve seen on RU-vid. If not for the Peter griffin sounds I would have thought it was genuine and moved on.
They had us in the first half, not gonna lie. Don't let this distract you from the fact that Burger King was founded by a FLORIDA MAN! Burger King was founded in 1953 in Jacksonville as Insta-Burger King. After visiting the McDonald brothers in San Bernardino, the founders Keith J. Kramer and his wife's uncle Matthew Burns, who had purchased the rights to two pieces of equipment called "Insta-machines", opened their first restaurants. Hence Insta in the name! Two Miami franchisees bought the company in 1959 and renamed it to just Burger King.
I am totally speechless. This is such an accurate recreation. I remember seeing this ad a lot back in the day. I didn't know that it was lost media until now lol
It was not lost, this is a recreation of a Mac Donald's commercial from the Super Mario movie, only the recreation makes it look like it is from the 80s-90s and instead of Mac Donald's he did it with Burger King
