Arthur sounds different here! Really cool find. The alternative scene feels more realistic than Arthur going to the doctor.

That tape really helped children overcome their fears of getting a cut! Thank you for uploading it! Someone should do an edited version with Michael Yarmush, Michael Caloz, and Luke Reid's voices kept intact.

This is so wild as I swear I have this episode on vhs tape but ironically I have or had the unaltered version as a child! Guess it makes sense they didn’t want Kids being scared thinking a little cut was worth a hospital visit when most parents can handle it for kids. Edit: for clarity I had Arthur’s knee on vhs still kinda wild both the og and renamed altered version made it on vhs

Thanks for finding this piece of Arthur lost media I didn’t know about. I think this was released before the season 6 episodes were produced, because Justin Bradley’s Arthur voice sounded higher.

Yeah, this is lost media, that i never knew exsisted. It seems like Arthur and D.W.'s voices where re-recorded by their season 6 voice actors.

Even though Arthur Conquers a Cut used the same title card animation as Arthur’s Knee, Brain read the episode title instead of Binky. Also, the text was blue instead of red.

The animation is so fluid too

personally, the fact that this was a re-dubbed version of “arthur’s knee” (with season 6 voice actors for 2001), makes me want to view this as my only version of “arthur’s knee” that i’ll watch (especially as Justin Bradley is my all-time favorite voice actor for the arthur character (my opinion here), though shame that he was only on just season 6)

When I got a scar over my eye I told an adult Rafiki who cleaned the cut that’s important for first aid right

This sounds like it was an added scene. His voice doesn't sound like Michael Yarmush.
