During practice for the Questing 4 Glory marathon I just happened to run into a new PB/WR. This run was all over the place. Average early game, really bad disc 2 but incredibly strong disc 3 for the most part.
Those splits will be really weird to run against.

Love this game! So underrated and wish it would get ported or remaster or they do some sort of sequel in this world or spiritual successor.

Mistwalker don't own the IP if I recall correctly. Still with Microsoft...? Also Mistwalker is basically just a bunch of freelance staff. Hironobu Sakaguchi is considering retirement so very unlikely we'll see a revival. This game truly is one of a kind. Back compat won't last forever. I got the original Japanese version physically. The game runs on back compat and displays the Japanese achievements but plays in English. It's one of those special games. A shame as all the ingredients are right and it deserved a bigger audience.

I loved playing this game (didnt get to finish because my Disk 3 messed up...sadge) but i checked the speedrun boards and its amazing you still hold the record after all this time, love your content dude

At time it can get boring but I like the enemy sound effect especially the wet tentacles sounds. How do they do they do that? sole sugar molasses? haha!

Watched Palmer's Blue Dragon speedrun earlier, now time for this one. Gonna be interesting to see what speedrun strategies are used for this.

Unfortunately the notes that I used for myself are not really useful considering they are a mix of German, English and my own abbrevations :D it is probably the easiest if you watch a couple of runs and make your own notes. If you have any questions concerning different strats or anything, feel free to hit me up on Discord

Revisit Gondoras Mansion for the kings seal in the side courtyard few bombs, every fight guarantees a level till 47 48 (if someone dont know)

if you mean breaking in terms of glitches, the persistence glitch alone is broken enough already - without it the run would probably be like 45-60 min longer :D

Watched your hope and healing run and naturally made my way here. Huge respect on unlocking the speed in this game. I enjoyed my experiences with this game so much. It feels so epic. It hyped me like FF7 did. Sub 6hours or is that stupid?? Lol seriously though congratulations on this.

Sub 6 is theoretically possible but would probably require god like RNG to happen. Sub 6:05 is probably a more realistic goal if someone feels like grinding this one.
