I fix the annoying issues with the fuel pump and the screeching from the power steering pump belt. I also bleed the brakes but they are not quite there yet.

That belt looked rather tight, the pulleys wear and the belt no longer fits on the pulley, this can cause slip as the pulley is not same V as the belt. So good to see your videos as we love the old Lotus's.

Thanks Neil, I will loosen it a little.

Brakes on these can be a PITA to bleed. Just need to keep at it until you get a good pedal. There is a biasing valve on the o/s inner wing that can hold air too.

Thanks Andrew... Yes, maybe I should have another attempt at it, but the pedal feels very solid before starting the engine when the booster kicks in. Maybe I should also service the master cylinder, give it a good clean and rebuild it if kits are available, cheers!

Check the servo is holding a vacuum that white valve on it is one way also check all 4 callipers are sliding properly

Thanks Ant. The brakes work, I rebuilt them (episode 2) and the discs are all bedding in again. They are just a bit spongy. They probably just require more bleeding
