I thought you had the Chato in your hands for a moment because of the black label that goes across the top. They now use a blue label for Azul and the black label is for Chato.
I bet this brand use an brick oven driven with wood and fire.Also the gasoline you experienced, comes from the open fermentation.Where the yeast and bacteria can also give the famous acetone aroma that some mezcals are known for. Yes I figured it came from the fermentation, which I guess happens with Mezcal often, and not from the earthen pit cook, as some people believe. I know BC Pancho, he drove us around Mexico... what a great guy.
It's not in Oklahoma..d*mn it!!! I didn't find it in Texas from Dallas to Galveston,so when I do my Spring trek to Vegas maybe I'll find it along the way. ***Lou, why don't you host a met up in the town of Tequila and give a tour. I've been thinking of going to Jalisco/Tequila sometime in 2021.

Don Julio Anejo, Don Julio Blanco, Patron Silver, Patron Reposado, Espolon Reposado, Espolon Blanco, Milagro Silver, Milagro Reposado, Casamigos Blanco, Cabo Wabo Blanco, Cabo Wabo Reposado, Cabo Wabo Anejo, Correlajo Blanco, Correlajo Reposado, Herradura Silver, Cazadores Anejo, Wahaka Espadin, 1800 Silver, 1800 Reposado, 1800 Anjeo, 1800 Coconut. I only drink shots, I might add. Can you help me out and tell me which one of these I should pick? The Patron and Don Julio are quite expensive for me at $50, so if you say one of those are the best, could you also give me a second option out of those? This store sucks, haha.
