I miss em both..went to their concerts quite a few times...Lou had such and endearing stage pressence, these concerts made you feel you were back in some smokey jazz club back in the '60's.....dr lonnie I have also seen live many times, blistering fast organ and such humour, he always had me up in stitches with his antics...again...I miss em both....

Resta aplaudir... Saludos desde Brazil.
DR LONNIE SMITH, SADHU? MAHARISHI? FAKIR? YOGI? BODHISATTVA?, nah, only a child of Buffalo with a HAMMOND !!!!!! BUEN VIAJE MAESTRO Y GRACIAS POR TU ARTE!!!!!!
Great to see Lou live, and this is an excellent performance. Too bad about the ridiculous costume the organist is wearing. No need for it at all. That's what religions will do. But there is only one way to heaven, and that is by Jesus. Here is how "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23) "Christ died for our sins ... and he was buried and ... he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (I Corinthians 15:3-4) "The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (I John 1:7) "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." (Acts 16:31)
The organist is NEA Jazz Master Dr. Lonnie Smith, one of the most revered organists in all of Jazz music. He has been quoted saying that the turban has no religious significance at all. He just liked it. You should maybe mind your own glass house before calling others ridiculous.
