@@ChuckwaldMartin in azhar's last 10 years of cricket, i dont recall 10 inningshe played which you can call him a player at all.. have a close look, and the shame on BCCI that kept him playing till the time he was accused of match fixing, it wasn't only azhar... many at the top were also a part.
Good thing is this lou is quite open about his actions , here in Indian cricket all convicted players to this day denied the allegations against them and they were involved , GREAT RESPECT FOR LOU
So Honest and what a heart! So many are still proud of you, and so am I! The past is history, future is mystery - today is a gift, enjoy your life, Lou!
Muhammad Amir did and he was trapped into it like Michael Holding said. Same can’t be said at all for Salman Butt and Muhammad Asif who were a part of this and trapped this young fast bowler in this.
Amir was a kid when was trapped by bookmakers. Lol guys like Vincent and cairns may be are talented but they did a big mistake. Infact they were trying to trap other nz players in their net. It was good that the board banned these ppl for life.
“Sadly you will be remembered as a cheat” lol why generalise? And speak for everyone? When I think of Lou Vincent I remember a hard hitting batsman and sweet timer of the ball who did well against Australia 🇦🇺
Let's face it , his sin is no worse then our sin and the sin of those convicted him . He never physically hurt anyone or mentally hurt anyone he just got trapped. His NZ career was pure
Lou Vincent playing style is like Martin Crowe from NZ. #Respect. Every human makes mistakes. To come and tell the truth requires lots of guts. Danish kaneria accepted this issue of fixing in cricket. Azhar played 99 tests still keeps denying. GREAT RESPECT FOR LOU
It takes so much of courage to accept everything and speak the truth champion I would say so many cricketers might have done that but it's just that they didn't get caught it doesn't mean they r not involved Respect for you Hope you find purpose to live and makes your family proud some way or the other :) #Respect That lady interviewer was so disgraced and stone hearted I feel bcoz when someone is accepting everything you should understand the fact how he has gone through horrific phase of his life. People make mistakes he didn't killed someone plz be polite in your approach
So the first time, when he made the mistake and his ‘ friend ‘ nearly hit him with the cricket bat, he didn’t actually do much wrong. He didn’t receive any money for throwing games, so technically nothing happened.
I feel a bit sorry for him after watching this. Some things are worth more than money, like peace of mind and self respect. He was used and spat out by the vultures who control the world of match fixing. If gambling wasn’t illegal in India, I think we wouldn’t have half of the match fixing problems that we do. I respect the person who holds his hands up and says yes I did this, I made a huge mistake and I apologise, a lot more than someone who lies and tries to wriggle out of the situation and does anything to save his own arse. I hope he gets another chance in cricket in some form or another because he deserves a 2nd chance.
Betting is allowed in many countries alright but when it comes to involvement of players in tainted outcomes that is where it all gets dangerous. It's anybody's guess how widespread match fixing in cricket still is. But the controls that ICC and others have put in place seem to be insufficient.
I will never compromise neither take shortcuts in life ie pornography match fixing doping etc and i will never condemn. You Lou Vincent by Steve Irungu Jermaine
Kyon? Koi acchi nahi lag sakti bina "hilane se"? Tum jaise cheap log hi desh ka, Indian men ka naam kharab karte ho. Learn some decency in public fora.
A weak, pathetic figure in the inception, he found the strength to come clean in the end. He seems genuinely repentant, I wish him the best in his future endeavors!
Its easier to admit to fixing in foreign domestic leagues than in international matches, because, lets face it, leagues like ICL, IPL etc are tailor made for fixing and no one will be surprised or angry or heartbroken. Although he was bringing out his acting talent throughout the interview, it went too far when he made that dramatic pause at 22:55 to answer whether NZ players were involved. That's when I stopped watching.
@louvincent - i was not a big fan, but after watching this video, I am a big fan now.... and don't worry about people who are still hiding skeletons in their closet.. "remember - Karma never Forgets an Address"
This is the biggest load of shit I’ve ever heard When he met the guy in England and still didn’t receive the money he owed as if you would take on more jobs He never said anything about being blackmailed either
hes only telling the truth up to a point but wont touch international matches and his corrupt team mates, don't talk at all if you don't fully admit the truth.
I have learnt a hard lesson that match fixing in sports ie cricket is real I will never take shortcuts in life so help me God in Jesus name Amen 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 by Steve Irungu Jermaine
