There are only few of them on eBay for around USD 6K 😮! Are they really worth it or these are highly exaggerated prices ? Isn’t around $3,200 is the logical price ?
I have the UAE 🇦🇪 50th anniversary edition. That you can call really rare. They only made 50 pieces. It’s exactly the same as “La Semaine” but instead of the smiling emoji “😀” they put the names of the 7 Emirates. Yet, I would enjoy “La Semaine” more. Would I regret exchanging ?! 🤔
Cool watch but my god 9k ?? I’d go for it for a regular production at 2k but that’s just too much - I’m over limited editions though so I’m a bit biased. Great video !
I've never understood these. As you were handling them I still didnt get it. But when you put it on your wrist, for some unfathomable reason, it just works. Flippin stupid price though. Thanks, as ever, for showing.
I picked up the regulator recently. I jumped on it fast after coming across this version while looking at another Louis Erard watch. They're not for everyone, but for me it's a fun piece in a part of the market usually so reserved that people lose their shit when makers release the same dial but in green or Tiffany blue. Even with such a silly design, the watch feels really well put together and I was impressed how the hour dial and chapter ring play with the light; no videos or photos seem to capture it so it was a pleasant surprise. I'm putting mine on a two piece nylon strap since I have a smaller wrist so the included strap doubling over where it loops around is visual bulk I don't need. Ultimately I think of these like a luxury version of a Mr. Jones Watch.
I personally have taken to watches that uses red yellow blue primary colors as accent colors over the past few years. Have bought some and even made a Seiko mod with some in the last. Ignoring the prices, these are cool. I really dig the new limited edition Bell & Ross Collab trio, very cool district, but, related, designs .. I believe through Revolution watch.. I couldn't spend like $16k+ on them myself, but, certainly enjoy and appreciate the design crossover. AND, you should check out the line they did on those in that trio... Stuff right up your alley. The Louie Erard collab with Ressence is also really cool, too. That Ressence is even more expensive, but super cool, too.
