This was interesting project. Customer had a vision to re-make this LV case into traveling cigar case, One of his passions. Now he can enjoy his cigars when he travels.
It’s so satisfying to watch a perfectionist create something that’s as close as humanly possible to perfect. Steve if you lived 600 years ago, you’d be one of the guys commissioned to build the Sistine Chapel. Hope that makes sense. You’re that type of person.

Never worry about people complaining about a $4,000 project when they never had $4,000 to spend. This project took a lot of time in the most important time that happened before building even started. That time was engaging in a master craftsman's 40 or so years of experience. In the end, if the customer is happy and Steve is happy we should be happy.
You are very inspiring to me, I like that you are picky, and that you give it your best, it shows, I appreciate how you consider every little itty bitty space, and keeping the fabric immaculate, excellent, my big thumb is up in the air for this job!

There you go again man ! Every time I think you have done something way above the scale you turn around and do something like this and outdo it. I found the rebuilding of the Bally boots to be top of the world work but obviously the top of the world has a top. Unbelievable skill . I am sure your father looking rom heaven is UBER proud. I watch your videos often. This one is different and I enjoyed it. I like that you state your price for two reasons. It tells others what you price a project. And that with the price that you mention the Customer agreed with the price. I am sure like you said you contacted the person and agreed with the price. Thank You for sharing.
Lovely craftsmanship. The conversion made this case into something that will actually be used and passed on to the next generation (hopefully with it's origin story).

I took an old Samsonite suitcase and turned it into a booze case. One side has plenty of room for flasks of different kinds of booze and the other side is stocked with napkins, and bar related glassware, shot glasses etc. On the outside are travel stickers from where I’ve been with the booze case. Of course it’s always taken on a trip where we drive never where we fly.
I’m currently reading the book -Think and Grow Rich-by Nepoleon Hill. I was constantly reminded of several chapters in the book as I watched you work. These chapters included topics such as Imagination,faith, coupled with senses/ feelings among others and how the thoughts that a human has allows them to experience a life of their own design.. One of the main drivers being imagination. This case didn’t exist until your imagination got involved and the outcome is beautiful. I encourage anyone who is interested in reshaping their lives to tap into the book. I discovered your channel during the beginning of the “Pandemic” and truly appreciate your skill and the evolution of your channel from the different camera angles, ASMR content and l must pay homage to “Hammer Time”. My quick google shows this tea set and case, in Louis Vuitton canvas for $35000.00 so a $4000.00 retrofit is well in line with the useability and glamor of the case. Its all about knowing the finer things in life exist. when we were living in log cabins, the european nobility lived in splendor we can hardly imagine.

It was great to see something a little different and watch how you manifest your client's and your own ideas into a fully completed project. $4k is a lot of money but it took a long time and if the client is happy with the cost then it's worth it.
The willingness to undertake this bit of artistry and to complete it so well, is based on justifiable self-confidence and great skill. Four thousand dollars for a one of a kind cigar case was more than a fair price to the customer.
Beautiful work Steve, as expected, from a master craftsman🎉 as for your choice of Scotch Whisky, I love Balvenie branded Whiskys. My jam is almost never peated. I prefer sherry casked or finished in sherry casks. Went to a wedding in NJ last December & introduced multiple relatives to Balenie 12 sherry cask, before they could complete their Johnny Walker Black orders😜 They were very grateful Balvenie 12 yr old and up my friend🥃 cheers😊
