Great tips! I use natural activated bamboo charcoal air purifier bags to eliminate odors. You reactivate them in the sun once a month. They work great anywhere but especially in handbags 👜 🌱
Congratulations Michelle you have 2K subs and counting 🎉🎈, you truly deserves it and I’m so happy for you.....NO skipping ads 🙌🏼💕. Great tips beautiful, have a wonderful Friday and weekend 🙏💕💕💕
Thank you for this very helpful video! What I appreciate even more about you is you taking a stand to stop the hate against Asians. It means more than you will ever know. Still no mention of it from other youtubers. I am shocked but not shocked smh. ♥️
Thank you for always watching and supporting! I will be Working on a couple of videos about the Asian experience in America very soon! Thank you for mentioning it ❤️ I appreciate you!
Great advice! To anyone guilty of stretching glasses on top of your head, optometrists can gently heat and fit them for you, even acrylic frames! At your own risk, of course, but if the damage is already done…
This is such a helpful video! I’m saving it! Thank you so much! ❤️ I was always taught to take care of my things as well and it amazes me when I see people destroying their luxury things ugh! ❤️
I keep all of my bags in a set of converted curio cabinets. I’m in Colorado where it’s dry so I have a humidifier set on low to keep the canvas and vachetta moisturized.
Such an informative video! So Louis Vuitton straight away packs what is on display and sells it to you? It does not give you a fresh piece from inside the cupboard when you decide to buy a particular model?
Just ran to my closet and took all my bags out of the boxes and left them only in the dust bags. Thank you. Only problem is...now where do I put the boxes 😱 lol.
😁😁😁 can you fold them down? I actually just do have empty boxes in different corners...I should probably figure out what to do with them myself! 😂😂😂 Thanks for watching!
I completely agree about taking care of your things. I’m guilty of putting my sunglasses on top of my head mainly because I’m afraid they would get damaged being inside my handbag 🥺
Oh my goddd I had no idea I was taking such bad care of my sunglasses!! Thank you so much. I always put them on top of my head it’s so natural to me to do that. Thank you for the pointers!!
@@dialmstyle thanks for the video! Do you have any suggestions for how to take care of nice heels? I have a pair of pointy toe leather heels with the soft leather soles and I don't want to damage them!
@angela p I’m at the point in my life where I only wear heels on carpet, or walking from the car to the restaurant 😂😂😂 You need to take those nice soft leather soles to a cobbler and get sole protectors, then you break them in and hope you don’t twist an ankle!
Great video. I will never understand why people continue to think luxury pieces are indestructible. It boggles the mind. Do you have any tips on cleaning vernis?❤
I love that little inside of your barbies and how you took care of them. I also grew up that way. My mom would always say that if I wanted more dolls I needed to make sure I wouldn't loose not even one shoe. Jajaja, and as an adult I baby my bags. And I'm teaching my daughter how to be gentle with her things as well. :)
Thank you so much for sharing!!! Totally agree about everything!! Luxury items are expensive bcoz of the brand..yes quality is great but your paying for a popular brand...(marketing, production, materials, etc) I always take good care of my items, it's an investment and needs to be treated like so! Thank you for sharing!! Love your videos ❤️
Tom Cruz!!’ That’s funny 😆 I did not know I can ruin my sunglasses by putting it on my head. I found out just few weeks ago not to box up your bag. I so enjoyed watching! I try to take care of my things. Thank you
@@dialmstyle I had my Barbies and clothes, but they were lost when I was a teenager during a move. I think my mom donated them. I started collecting Barbie and I have several vintage dolls and outfits. Yes, with both shoes. 😁. Great video!
It seems like common sense but people actually do this! The hubby carries too much crap in his wallet. I bought him an LV wallet last year but he hasn’t used it yet. Hopefully he will purge some stuff. He’s carrying credit cards from a long time ago! Also, saver cards and papers. Lol great video as usual!
thanks so much! very informative video. I hate how my glasses get stretched out but I never even considered the problem of wearing them on my big old head. $$$ glasses are worth using two hands, I’m going to be much more conscious. Lmao at the men who don’t look like Tom cruise and much past their peak trying on sunglasses like that! 🤣
I’m glad my advice helps! I have a few “vacation” sunglasses that I wear when I need to flip them on my head or take them off and on a lot! Thanks so much for your support on my channel! 💕
New subscriber here! Love your videos!!! Some people are unreasonable about the way they treat their luxury items. I treat them like the" wonders" that they are. I feel very lucky to have them.
Thank you Charise! Having worked there, I can’t believe some people trash their stuff! You are right, we are lucky to have them! Thank you for your comment! 💕💕
As soon as you started talking about the wallet being too stuffed, I thought about that Seinfeld episode. 😂 Also, as soon as I get home, I'm setting one of my handbags free. It's been in the box for way too long. Oof!
Thanks Michelle. Very informative and useful video. I enjoy watching all of them. A question.... if I stuff the bag which has an odour with newspaper, won't this lead to black print transfer, especially if the interior is a light colour.
I've got 2 Mulberry medium clippers that you've confirmed i should be keeping then in dustbags but sorry, they are staying on display on the wall unit in my bedroom, longevity be damnned!! Good vid though.
@@dialmstyle That's a good idea, i wish i was going to do it but, well. Both bags are black (different seasons), and ive gotten away with the occasional wipe down. They've held up, but thats probably because i dont use them much. I would of been more careful if they were any other colour, but thank you for the knowledge, it is helpful 👍🏿
Great video, thank you! One of my Louis Vuitton bags is a 12yr old Speedy 30 & it is in perfect condition🤍I take really good care of all my things especially my LV bags😀
I own a bequia trotter bag, I pretty much only use the dust cover when I know I'm not gonna be using the bag for some amount of days. I use the bag pretty much every day. I put a leather conditioner on it once every other week. So should I be putting the bag in the dust cover each night and just leave what's the bag. because if you are about to advise I take everything out of my bag each night I'm not gonna do that.
THANK YOU for sharing, great Vlog. although in my experience i keep my bags inside their boxes (if they have) and ive had them for years and still in perfect condition (LV and other Lux Brands - leather bags). although are u just referring maybe to LV canvass bags so they can breathe? (now i am worried cz mine are inside their boxes) i also use silica gel inside the bag + inside the box and storing them without sunlight. Maybe i am getting lucky with how i store them? 💕💕💕💕💕💕
It helps that there is a silica gel, and probably they are in an air-conditioned room. I did have a Bulgari bag in a box for a long time and it was fine. But that is what Louis Vuitton advice is to not keep it in the box. Also if it’s in the box you’ll forget to use her!! That’s why mine are all on the dresser right now so I can rotate them. Thanks for watching! ❤️
Do you have any video that talks about specifically canvas product care? I would appreciate it. I recently bought a speedy b 25 so I want to know the dos and don'ts. Thank you
Thank you for the tip. I just received my first bought 23 yo deauville at FASHIONPHILE. It has musty odor but it doesn’t bother me that much but no musty odor is way better. I was thinking to use a conditioner to clean the canvas but after watching your video I’m scared to do it now. TFS Michelle. Stay safe
Hi Ruby! Try to use a damp cloth to gently wipe the canvas, then stuff the bag with newspaper and leave it uncovered on a table. Be careful not to wet the leather (it will change color). I hope that helps!
Omg Michelle, that is such a pet peeve of mine when I see people whip sunglasses off their face in that diagonal motion. Worse, is when the do that holding on to one of the arms! ACKKK! I cannot! It gives me anxiety! (I'm very attached to my sunglasses and treat them like babies maybe a bit better than I treat my bags even lol.) Haha, Tom Cruise is to blame! 😂
I prefer to use the case my glasses came in but it rarely fits in a handbag. I find myself carrying larger handbags just so my glasses case will fit. Also, I get my sunglasses from an optometrist instead of a boutique so they have a replacement lens warranty and better lenses. You can get designer frames from high end optometrists but I haven’t seen LV which is odd since you can buy Chanel and Dior.
I finally got my hands on a new Pochette Accessoires NM in Monogram. Can you give me any helpful advise how to treat the bag right and how to keep the vachetta light as long as possible?😊
I bought a speedy b25 in DE today and i noticed there's no date code. I have looked eveyrwhere. Does it really happen? Im just concern that if i decide to sell it i might be questioned regarding its authenticity
Hey Michelle! I did my first preorder last week for the pocket organizer in navy monogram shadow. I was wondering why I still haven’t received my order and I see in the website it is available online and it’s in stock at my store😭. Is there an order/line where when the item comes into the store it ships in order of preorders? Just wondering how this process is done 🤔
Hi Tim! Yes, I mention in my other video how there are different processes for Pre-order vs online... and none of it makes sense...but you should be able to get it...call the store perhaps?
Hi Dial! New subbie here. I have not bought my LV bag yet. I'm new to the whole luxury market, having been a child of the sixties. lol I believe I was gifted a small LV shoulder bag, not my style...and yes, it's in a box of handbags in my closet. I'll remove it right away!! How do I authenticate the bag? Anyway, I decided to do my research before I purchase, and was looking at From Japan. The bags were so damaged!! Now, I'm considering new. Yikes!!! So expensive! Anyway, thank you for all the helpful information. I appreciate your site and will keep watching. :)
There are authenticators but I have never used one. I have heard of it’s coming from Japan, it’s most likely authentic because they prosecute fake sellers, unlike in the US. Hope that helps!
Hi! Can you please make a video on how to fix scratched vachetta? My boulogne is fairly new and I don’t know HOW but it has a small scratch now 😭 SO SAD
Hi Michelle, urgent question for your advice please. I have a pallas which collected alot of dust and it looks very dirty and not class now. Can I put it in the washing machine to wash just for one time? I really want to use it again, am keep thinking its got a lot of germs now and if I'd to bring it to spa treatment, they will throw it on the floor my heart pain 💔 🥺. Anyone can advise please have you machine washed your pallas before?
What are ur thought on the display boxes from @luxury_bag_display on ig to store handbags I got 9 cus I can’t see threw the dust bag in see wat inside n I jus grab n go
