Continuing with some great Louise Mandrell tunes, here is "I'm Not Through Loving You Yet." It reached #7 on the Billboard Country chart in 1984 and remained on the charts for 20 weeks (RCA 13752).
THANX LOUISE FOR ALL YOUR SWEETNESS YOU SHOWED ME AT YOUR SHOWS&CONCERTS OVER THE YEARS. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU SO MUCH, AND APPRECIATE YOUR KINDNESS TO ME. MIKE IN CT.
louise will never get the recognition barbera got,but theyre both a class act and my favorite mandrell album, which should have went platinum,is sisters in song, where her and barberas' songs are rotated! to tell the truth,i cant tell there beautiful voices apart!
I had a big crush on Louise. I detassled corn the summer of 1984 so I could afford to go see her in concert at the county fair in Fayette County, Connersville, Indiana at Roberts Park. I stood in line and got a photograph taken with her. I also had that photo in the video autographed by her.
"I'm talking ta you boy!" Love the lyrics. Heard this on the radio in '84 after a weekend out with some friends. She's as good as Barbara for sure. thanks for posting it KSMuisicgeeks.
GREAT SONG SUNG BY A FABULUOS SINGER ! ONE OF MY FAVOURITE KARAOKE SONGS THAT I SING ! ALL MY KINDEST REGARDS FOR YOUR FUTURE HEALTH AND HAPPINESS LOUISE. GARY ,ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA .
i was only six when this song hit the charts, but i love hearing classic country songs! I've always loved Barbara, and now I get to hear Louise too! Did Irlene ever record anything? Please let me know!!
This is a very good song by louise mandrell but holly dunn sings the same song to and she sings it just like louise and great talent now this song came out in 1985 I love this song this song was awesome and louise mandrell did a remarkable remake of the late holly dunn but the 80s country music are the best they don't make music like this anymore
Too bad country music's not like this anymore. Willie's Roadhouse specializes in traditional country music, but they don't play songs like this, anymore than they play songs by Randy Travis, Kathy Mattes, Baillie And The Boys, etc.
Co-written with her brother Chris Waters Dunn... She went to school one year with my late girlfriend when they were kids... She was also in college with another woman I dated, so she was never off the radar, as we were both from San Antonio, TX.
