Cajun Food, Cold Beer, Good Company and Shooting the Bull with Skeeter Ray, the Godfather of the Bayou and Friends.
This man is incredibly kind, hospitable and knowledgeable.
I recently saw him on an episode of the great RU-vid channel Fearless and Far and thought, why not try and get ahold of this wonderful character.
Low and behold, he was excited to share his culture, home and knowledge with us by extending an invitation to family hog slaughtering deep in the back woods of southern Louisiana.

Yes thanks for showcasing my boy! I also discovered him on Fearless and Far. Turns out, he worked with my mother-in-law's brother! He is EXACTLY what you see here. Spent a few days with him recently, and he is truly a natural treasure!

My name is Louie I was born and raised in southern Louisiana and the traditions are slowly becoming less common today because of all the fast foods of today and the children have no interest in learning and eating traditional foods and medicine of the past
