The lady was correct when she said that all of those thriving businesses would've been passed down to the next generation. To think the biggest bank owner here in Louisville was owned by a black man in those days makes me smile. My grandma was M Ali's nurse. She told me stories about music scene here. Just what if..... Lived in Louisville Kentucky for 2 years as a child. Lived at 1642 South 32nd St, building 36; yes, it was the projects and my family's first home. Lived there from 1961- July 1963 then we moved out to Ft Knox Kentucky.
