Here’s a guitar cover of Love’s the Only Rule , a song from the 2009 album The Circle, by Jesper.

What a killer song. These are the kind of songs that proves that Bon Jovi can bang out killer pop-songs post-2000. I’d even say from a songwriting standpoint it is one of the best ”modern” Bon Jovi songs.
It’s a killer synth-riff that actually is a lot of guitar as well, but live is was mostly synth. Guitar wise it’s pretty crisp and nothing outstanding. The solo goes on for a while with a lot of licks. There’s a prominent octave effect on some parts of it that almost makes it a little fuzzy. All in all it’s a great song. Especially live this one really blew me away with the extended outro. The Circle era was truly an amazing time to be a fan. Only a few years later it would all start to go downhill.
