The only reason Chris set up this meeting with Martel was for the 47 acres. When he sat down and asked Mel if she is ok, i wanted Mel to slap Chris or his wife to. I really didn't expect Martell would show us exactly why she left and wants only positive energy. My god.. My heart was breaking, realizing exactly what this woman has been going through. I honestly think they were not aware of him having a child on the way from the mistress. Which is why you heard Nell apologize to Mel more than once. I honestly think they were just trying to provide advice on how to get through the situation they were in years before. If they knew about the child, they would not have ambushed her like that.

Excellent review and insight. My issue is with everyone in Huntsville urging Mel to have a sit-down with this man who quite frankly doesn’t have the emotional or mental intelligence right now to have an effective conversation with her. Why does it have to come down to Mel revealing that there’s a side baby for people to understand that this relationship is OVER and that Martell is TRASH?! 🙄

Martell reminds me of a man that was sexually violated as a kid and is angry at his mother for allowing it to happen and instead of confronting the parents about the pain and trauma, they take it out on the person they end up with.

I can't believe so many people are telling her to fight for a marriage woth a man that had a whole baby on her. They must want her to be in pain for the rest of her life having to welcome a reminder of that affair into her family.
