Zoals altijd, nog een geweldige video van je bezoek aan de Filipijnen. Geweldig om te zien dat je daar weer bent. Ik zal over vier weken in Bacolod City zijn. Ik kan niet wachten! Groeten uit Vancouver, Canada.
New subscriber here. I had been watching your videos and i feel like I'm watching National Geographic and Discovery Channel. Very nicely done. And with your soothing voice, It's a Documentary. Love your videos. Always take care and enjoy your stay.
Thanx so much! I started paying for music recently - which makes it so much less of a pain to find good songs 😊😊 it's so important to have good music indeed 😀😀
Watched all of your latest videos, makes me wanna go home to my beautiful Philippines straight away.. love all your videos and your voice is very relaxing. Thank you for sharing them. xx
Oh my God love all your blog so much fun watching it!and what makes it more fun is your character and personality that you can easily jive to different kind of individuala!
The water so clear, so nice to snorkeling around !!! You know what you might a be TV host somehow perhaps if you've been invited to hit the Philippines TV show series. You look like a professional documentary commentator. Anyway, just wanna say welcome back!!!
Thanx so much! Love it to hear more about your travel plans lately, about Patreon and how you deal with sponsored content. Very considerate, it inspired me to be honest :) Hope to see you back in the Netherlands again one day! :D
Hi Gretl! Your work is amazing. I feel like I’m actually travelling with you. I’m from Western Visayas and will visit Dumaguete, Apo Island and Siquijor this May. 🙂 please keep your videos coming ❤️
Loved this! I'm a new subbie! I'm a Filipina myself but I haven't been to Apo as I live in the South. I hope you can visit Siargao island next! It's one of the must-sees in PH. Great content btw Gretl. Xx
Thanx! Invested in better camera gear for my job - which makes this vids also better. And of course DJI was kind enough to deliver the drone I bought this time (last trip I ordered it but it wouldn't come) so killer combo ;) haha - thanx for sticking around with me :)
Thanx! It was my first time out flying with the drone again, after not having done it for a long time here... I was pretty nervous and made the shots too bright at the beginning ;) haha, drone shots will improve over this trip :D And also I borrow some shots from @bangsbucketlist - she is a DRONE SHOT BAD ASS - I am telling ya!
Travel Gretl hahaha yes she is! Even though crashed or 50/50 her drone she can still in control. I saw her post or your post in fb.. You can practice to fly ur drone there if you have time..😊😉
Well its visual is really worldclass...an awesome creation of arts of vlogging...you can magnificently narrate a very fantastic awesome vlog story, thru you your lenses...drone shots were really extremely beautiful...and your narration is very interesting...if you only constantly upload you can easily pump up this channel to million subs...thanks for sharing..im really speechless watching this vlogs...keep it up...you are really doing very very good...toook!
Thanx!!! I do agree - regular upload is by far the biggest 'problem' on my channel... how do you keep such quality up and put something online every day?! If i could solve that - yt's algarhytm would love me so much more 😉😁
How cool :D Love it she was part of the journey too this way :D We're getting closer to the Guimaras vids and Islas de Gigantes and Antique :D Looking forward to edit those ;) :)
I like the way your videos showing your adventure...I like your voice very professional...I have been in Apo Island but wasn’t able to see the Turtles 🐢 the waves and water too high... We also stayed in Coco Grove in Siquijor the owner Mike very nice... Thanks again for a wonderful videos....👍
Cool! That is the best way to support for free, with just a bit of your time and attention :D Thanx for that :) Most people find the commercials just annoying, but if YT'ers like me can make money (even little money, it's not much) they can keep on creating content :)
:D Trying to keep it interesting and not dragging, so keep it short and sweet :) YT wants it to be longer too though ;) their algarhytm promoted longer content...
Always great video. Don't forget Panay and visit our native Aetas in Nagpana Btac.Viejo. You may travel to our undiscovered zigzag mountains of San Rafael. 😊
Travel Gretl Thanks Gretl...yes I saw your video in Panay. Great adventures. I feel like traveling with you 😊Even we Filipinos can't afford island hopping even though some of those islands we see next to other islands. Negros occidental/ oriental are next to Guimaras but never been there. Besides we don't know anybody there.😅
i swear, the way you create your vids nowadays (*i.e. editing, cinematography, narration, etc.) can be considered top notch 👍i mean you can give "the travel channel" a run for their💲💵 money lol
It was!!!! Wauw 😃 did I see you too? (Yt won't show reactions to reactions so please let me know in a new reaction!) Dauin is the next vid coming up 😊😊
Yeah i think you briefly saw me. Since i wasnt sure it was you i didnt have the gut to say hi :( i was a black man eating at a table by the beach. You were standing by the bar speaking to someone. I doubt u remember :) anyway keep up with the videos 😉
Another great vlog. I am actually planning to visit Apo Islnd and wondering if I should stay on the island or do a day trip from Siquihor. After watching this I am convinced that I should stay at least for two days on Apo island. Thank you!
Cool! Yeah, stay there a bit longer please. It's quiet and relaxing here, and I am very sure there are so much more good reefs I haven't seen right now :) I suspect we did not even see the best reefs in our tour to be honest ;)
Great video! Planning on visiting Apo Island via Coco Grove in November so this has been very informative. How far in advance did your hotel call Coco Grove to reserve your spot? I see you paid the day before. Thanks in advance!
Awesome Gretl. You've captured Apo so well. I've been here several times throughout the years. How did you like the little town of Dumaguete by the way? (If you checked it out lol)
Pls visit siargao, sohoton cove, enchanted river, britania group of islet and tinuy- an falls. These are located at Surigao del norte and hinatuan and bislig. Thank you.
Thanx! I did hear about them, and about them being great places :) This time I finished my travels already :( The itinerary will be: Dauin (and attractions around Dumaguete) Sipalay, Guimaras, Isla de Gigantes and Antique!
Yeah! I put my sunblock on too careless... very true! You also can see it in the Siquijor video ;) haha - I looked at the shots and thought.... oh shit! I did use factor 30 or 150 (they sell that in the Philippines.... insane!) for the rest of the trip ;)
I could have given you a thumbs down cuz it's so short! Come Gretl..you know how I love your blogs. Make it a little longer please. Especially you're featuring my beloved province. 😍😍😍
Hahahaha, then I would know who the thumbs downer is now ;) I had just one on my last vid, it always makes me wonder what people think to thumb down :) Longer vid doesn't nessesairily mean better content. I really take care now of getting good shots and storytelling, not making things too long, dragging and boring. So 3 times longer is not 3 times more fun I'd say :) It takes me a full day of editing (with voice over, color correcting, effects, music search) and of course at least a day of shooting - so thumbs down do break my heart a little after all the effort and love ;)
Travel Gretl ...i was thinking of giving a thumbs down not because it was bad..it just because it's so short. In Filipino word.."bitin" it means I'm left hanging for more or wanting for more or not satisfied. Lol.
Yes! I know :) I would love to get out there 2 times a week, but please remember that YT does not give me even near to a full time income. It's 60 to 100 dollar a month, which by far is not enough to live from ;) I don't admire to be a full time YT'er - I love doing other videographer work next to it, but I do need time for that too. That's why 1 time a week (or when lucky, 2) is about maximum for the quality I try to deliver in the vids :) I feel you though! Haha, I need more hands here ;)
thank you for being honest. I honestly like how you do your vlogs and all the narration. But I somehow miss you on my subscription because of the upload interval. and I am craving for more after watching your new upload. Every travel needs some finances to sustain the living, and I hope you can do it someday on this channel because you totally deserved more subscribers with all your video content. Anyway, I know how editing works too and it takes a lot of time and effort just to make a vlog/video. As they say, if you are passionate about the things that make you happy, splurge more time on them. Much love. your subscriber from the Philippines =)
